Following the Xbox Games Showcase in early June, we're now looking ahead to Gamescom in August - the German event that typically mark the second biggest few days of the year for new gaming announcements.
It's no surprise, then, that Xbox has confirmed it will be present at Gamescom 2026 from August 26-30, meaning they'll have a booth with various games to play, including the single-player campaign for Gears of War: E-Day.
Xbox FanFest will also return at the same time as part of its tour around the world in 2026.
In terms of showcases, we'll get the traditional Gamescom Opening Night Live multi-platform event on August 25th, but Xbox is unlikely to host anything similar - instead, they usually do daily livestreams where they trickle out new announcements along the way.
We don't know anything specific about Xbox's plans aside from the Gears of War and FanFest hype though, so we'll have to wait and see what else gets announced for August. Until then, let us know what you hope to see down below!
