Compared to this time last month, we know lots more about ASUS's ROG Xbox Ally devices, as we approach the launch here in mid-October. While pricing is still to be confirmed, we now know that thousands of games are being tested and verified to run well on the system - and the manufacturer has shared footage of some of those titles running during Gamescom 2025.

These clips have been posted out to social media recently, and we're going to throw a bunch of them down below for your viewing pleasure. We've got games like Final Fantasy VII Remake, Forza Horizon 5 and Hell Is Us being shown off here - and they all seem to be running on the ROG Xbox Ally X; Asus's more powerful option.

We'd gladly take some longer gameplay snippets of course, but it's nice to see this raw footage coming out of the European gaming convention - and combined with positive early impressions, we're confident these games will be running pretty well on the X. As for the base system, things are obviously going to be slightly lower spec, but the standard ROG Xbox Ally is looking pretty capable as well.

All we really need now, then, is a pre-order date and some proper official pricing info. We know the rough prices that these two devices will likely be - we just need Xbox to lock those in and tell us when we can pick one of these systems up. All of that shouldn't be too far away, folks!
