Loved the zx spectrum as a kid, but I find it hard to play any retro games for more than 5 minutes these days.
Might still play jet set willy though!

I have zero loyalty to any corporation and I've flip flopped between Xbox and PlayStation over the years with the occasional Nintendo thrown in for good measure.
Game pass is the key thing for me now and it is literally a game changer. For as long as gamepass exists, I'll stick with Xbox, the value that I personally get from it is unbelievable.

I tried again last week, waited for 20 minutes for the game to load in. Still at 18%. Gave up.

Looking forwards to return to Savage planet and blue Prince.
Games looked interesting, but I loathed the IGN presentation, just show the games back to back on xbox's own channel and ditch all the IGN nonsense.

I believe there have been two massive patches since launch, which balance some of the skills which were over powered at launch.

Loving this game so far, developers nailed Indy. Feels like I'm in the movie. Really disagree with the pure Xbox review.

He's not blaming the consumer, he's just saying get some perspective here.
All I've ever read on this site before today on the comments, was that nobody cares about flight simulator, except a couple of people. Now that it's not working on launch, all these same people are losing their minds.

Excited for all 3, but Indie probably just shades it.

Why are metro reviews included? That garbage free newspaper is a joke for all things, but especially gaming.

@Wisegamer never played either game, as I've only just got a PC.
Do both come with a single player campaign that is worth playing? Not interested in multiplayer.

Unless it's got hall effect sticks, I'm not interested.
I've had 5 Xbox controllers and all have drift.

Loving this game, hopefully this fixes the crash issues I'm having.
Best turn based strategy I've played in years.

Loving this game so far, the further you go the deeper the game gets.
Couple of crashes to the home screen so far, but nothing major.

The only thing I care about is hall effect sticks, sick to death of stick drift.

@Titntin I love couch co-op too. Spider heck on game pass is one of my favourite games with the family.

For the last 18 years I've had to learn a completely new language here in Australia.
Now back on topic. I loved inside and still think about the weird ending.

@J_Mo_Money same here, also a lot of the bugs will have been patched by the time it comes out on Xbox.

@Cashews if pants means underwear what do you you call dress pants? slacks?
Trousers mate. I'm from the UK originally, but I've always called them pants as well, underwear was always just undies.
Maybe it's a northern thing.

@PeteW I had a look at the spectrum games on the service and most of the best ones appear to be missing unfortunately.

I went straight to the zx spectrum games list, most of the big ones are missing unfortunately.

Well I downloaded the X/S version but as soon as I start the story, it crashes to the desktop after approx 5 seconds.

@Zoidpilot4 superb assessment mate, agree with every word of your post.

I was really looking forward to this releasing on Xbox, but all the reviews I saw were slating the game.
I then started playing sudden strike 4, which came free with gold including all the expansions and am really enjoying it. I'll stick with this for now and maybe pick up COH in a sale later and with luck a few performance patches added.

Just finished Supraland, probably my favourite puzzle/platformer game since Portal 2, much more interesting puzzles than the much-hyped planet of Lana in my opinion.
Now playing Railway Empire 2 and can't stop, fantastic strategy game that is much deeper than it first appears.

@Fishysensei Spiderheck is my favourite couch co op game, very underated

Having a lot of fun on supraland so far. 5 hours in but am really stuck now. Time for bed and sleep on the problem!

Railway Tycoon for me.

Need to finish a couple of levels of floppy Knights.
A decent strategy game that you can pop in and out of for a quick half hour of gaming.

I'm loving this game so far, had no issues with the controls on default, but I'll give these settings a try anyway.

@themightyant I never understand with people want to know the review scores for gamepass games, just play it yourself and form your own opinion.
I'm very excited for this game and have tried to avoid clips of gameplay, as I want to explore myself.
What I have seen looks beautiful, but I keep hearing that the graphics don't look good from people online and in forums.
I believe all these 'hot takes from influencers' ruin the game before people try it out for themselves.
Anyway I'm old, so I'll go back to shouting at the clouds.

@MetalGear_Yoshi age of wonders is getting good reviews but has some performance issues on Xbox apparently, hopefully an early patch sorts it out

@Amigator ahh another oldie spectrum gamer like me I see!
Yeh I can see the ultimate reference, with the single block colours.

I'll be playing solo but might have a couple of games going on at the same time with different characters to try and play the same levels with different tactics.
From what I've seen so far, it looks great and atmospheric and don't understand the negativity, especially to the graphics.
30 fps has never bothered me personally so will be playing day one.

But the mighty youtube and twitter influencers have already told us that we won't enjoy it at 30 fps no matter how good the gameplay is!
Lucky I take zero notice of them and can't wait to play it.

@Widey85 glad I'm not the only one who can't tell the difference between 30fps and 60fps.
Must be an age thing as I'm in my fifties.

Looks like rimworld meets terraria.
Definitely will be checking out out, hopefully it controls ok on a controller.

I'm thinking of infiltrating the scarlet fleet as a spy, but then getting sucked into the pirate lifestyle and going full rogue!

It's imminent removal has sparked me into playing it and I'm really enjoying it so far.
Good news that it won't be removed for ever, so I don't need to rush through it now

I've been playing sudden strike 4 non stop since it arrived on games with gold. Fantastic game.

Probably waiting for a back hander, most corrupt UK government in history.

Nearly bought mount and blade, so stoked for that. Can't wait for atomic heart.
Cities Skylines really needed a current gen upgrade, felt like I was playing a switch game, when I tried it last time.
