Microsoft flat out have games permanently exclusive to their brand despite the developers being multiplatform.

The only reason Microsoft don't do many times deals now is because it's harder for them.

I'd argue that gobbling up the biggest publishers to slap your name on multiplat IPs and then causing confusion as to whether they'd suddenly go exclusive is infinitely worse than timed deals.

Excellent State of Play and easily the best showcase this year.

This whole "PC gaming will be the end game of Xbox's master plan" narrative is just hilarious.

@Weebleman the magical PCBox thing is either going to be an insanely niche product or a complete disaster.

People hype it up as some possible magnus opis that will get PS games on Xbox but Microsoft will likely end up losing millions to Steam revenue alongside alienating console players who won't pay over a grand and not attracting PC gamers who will just stick to their PC's anyway.

Where's Game Pass on that list?

@Godot25 Everyone was down in November but it was a disastrous month across the board. December was a healthier month for consoles and hardware.

If the next Xbox doesn't have a disc drive then the Series X is my last Xbox.

I've got a collection of backwards compatible games that I'm not losing access too.

@Sindayl right but as I said, cinematic games are bad when Sony does them but A-OK if it's Xbox.

I swear that whenever Sony or Microsoft have a big release, people pre-emptive call it a GOTY contender and then when it isn't, there has to be some conspiracy.

Still don't understand why gamers care about TGA honestly.

Personally I don't see this winning GOTY and I'd be surprised if it got a nomination outside of the RPG category.

Controversy aside, this game looks pretty darn great.

I don't really play racers but if 5 worth picking up because I've heard some mixed things.

@Skedaddle no, I just don't praise everything that MS does and my posts tend to be replies to users like fatpunkslim who have a nasty habit of console warring.

Also, even if I said I was buying it, I'd get replies telling me to use subscriptions when I don't want too.
