Xbox Continues To 'Actively Investigate' Issue With Backwards Compatible 360 Titles

Over the past couple of weeks, we've spotted an ongoing issue with backwards compatibility in regards to Xbox 360 titles on Xbox Series X, in which players are getting an error message that prevents them from signing into Xbox Live.

There's a massive Reddit post about this over in the Xbox Support community with over 250 comments to date, and it chronicles the various updates that players have been getting in regards to the issue.

One Xbox fan was apparently told it was "being treated as a priority" around April 21st, and then Xbox Support actually issued a statement on social media confirming it was being actively investigated on April 22nd.

Here's a look at that statement:

However, as we approach the end of April, this issue is still present — Xbox's support team is telling players that the problem is actively being worked on, but that they don't have a timeline for a resolution just yet.

It seems that whatever's going on behind the scenes is proving tricky to get to the bottom of, but we assume (fingers crossed!) it'll get fixed pretty soon. We'll let you know via an update when Microsoft finally gets this problem sorted.

In the meantime, let us know if you've been affected by the issue down in the comments section below.
