@Drnsnsr it discredits his claim of it being a wokefest. That said, the devs already admitted that the games number one focus was diversity and inclusion... we all know what that means these days whether you support it or not. Not to mention, that's the devs talking. That they would have the audacity to claim diversity and inclusion as their number one focus over gameplay and story when they know full well their standing with their distrusting audience after the insane failings in Anthem and Mass Effect Andromeda should have everyone in the industry on alert.

Idk man... after watching the "gameplay" demo I'm not confident in this game at all... looks like a Xbox One launch game that gets a 6/10. The combat was slow, sluggish, and repetitive. The camera during combat was horrendous! Not to mention the voice acting was worse than anything I've heard in a long time. Everyone's lines were so dull, empty, and void of any life. Things blowing up left and right and everyone standing around talking like they were falling asleep. Then the dialog selection moments? You kidding me lol!? Utterly pointless. Your options are basically yes, no, and maybe, and had no sway on what happens anyway lol. This game is DOA.

I'd have given it an A if it weren't for the Fable trailer STILL showcasing that weird looking chick as the main character. And if she ends up actually being the only option, then I'm out.

This trailer made the vanilla game somehow look worse with this being included. I honestly think their "NASA Punk" theme was a bad idea. It makes everything look and feel too sterilized. Nothing has any nuance or character to it. Everything just exists... I don't know how else to explain it. I really hope I end up being wrong. I want desperately to like this game.

So is this player character cemented in then or will I be able to play as a guy too if I want? I just want choice available.

@ZYDIO that is a great point. Yeah, it would definitely be preferable to get these all wireless. Maybe one day.

@ZYDIO I know. They block everyone from using their proprietary wireless tech so we get stuck with wired 3rd party stuff unless a special deal is made. So again, thanks for making this awesome controller suck now Microsoft.

Best controller after the GameCube one. Thank God Xbox found a way to screw it up by making sure it wasn't wireless too. I almost bought this.

@Yeet333 I never said anything about playing as a girl. I have no issue with that at all. Look around at everything else infiltrating gaming now. I don't want to fund anymore of this stuff so I'm out. You want to play it then go for it. Then when the message to Rockstar is clear that woke is in, don't be surprised when you play as an LGBT+ furry disabled circus clown in Red Dead 3.

@rustyduck I don't know know, an article came out the other day saying it got out that the game will be woke to appease the growing love for wokeness and I'm tired of it. I decided not to buy a copy. I'm so tired of this crap ruining my favorite hobby.

VATS is still F*CKED...

I'm still pissed they lied about Adaptive Triggers and Dual Sense vibration. At the time it released, the PS Store listed those as features for the native PS5 version, unfortunately they're not there. The Xbox version does contain HDR support however and that is a nice feature. Fortunately, according to Digital Foundry, both consoles are essentially tied now. Almost complete parity other than the VATS glitch on Xbox. Some minor performance issues still but I'm assuming that's due to the game engine itself and not how the consoles are running it.

@themightyant funny thing is its been broken ever since the new "Next Gen Update"... thank God I'm fortunate enough to own a PS5 and another copy of this game for it. Everything is great over there. I wanted to play on Xbox for the Auto-HDR but Bethesda and Microsoft hate Xbox so we can't have nice things lol.

I'll give it a whirl. I really wish they would have also actually fixed the HDR instead of that current option that just blows out the brightness as well though. I've seen this game shine on PC with HDR mods. Why isn't Bethesda, a billion dollar company, able to do the same as a guy making mods in his spare time?

I'm so torn now lol! I keep wanting to jump back into this but they already sucked me back into Fallout 4! I did play a little of 76 right before the "Next Gen patch" for Fallout 4 dropped and it is really good now, but Fallout 4 really hits that itch that 76 can't really seem to scratch.

Might be smarter to do the comparison once Quality Mode is actually patched. Currently it's Performance Mode no matter what setting you have it on...

Ok and? I think I speak for a lot of people when I say the communities faith in them has been severely shaken. And not just because of Starfield either, although that is one of the biggest reasons.

They ever going to patch Just Cause 4? It's a great game that ran 4K with an almost locked 30fps on Xbox One X. However even on Series X they forgot to bring that 4K upgrade over so it runs at 720P now...

Honestly I don't think there's anything the dlc can do unless it comes with a major system overhaul. This game needs to disappear for at least a year and come back as a soft relaunch with a complete revamp of gameplay much like No Man's Sky and Cyberpunk did. Otherwise anything Bethesda does will be white noise and the only people who care will be the last handful of people still playing this. I wish things were different though.

I buy a lot of them but I'm saddened that it seems like, when it comes to remakes at least, that we should be able to buy or get the original game bundled in as well. I would have loved copies of the OG Resident Evil 2 and 3 when I got the remakes of them. We need so many of those old games available again. I know no one in these corporations wants to do it but it's not hard to do and prints money. I don't see why not.

At first I thought it was going to be a Terminator themed Vampire Survivor game. I got pretty excited, then was disappointed to find out I was wrong. Hopefully it'll be good anyway.
