@IOI yeah. load of options for gamepass coupled with the samsung TV app (soon to be everywhere app I reckon) should snare loads of punters from the casuals to the hardcore console owners.

Scorn. Gave it a 2nd go after thinking it was rubbish back when it was released. Hooked now. I love it.

Scorn - I derided it upon release having only completed act 1 with a guide. Picked it up again over the xmas break and stomped all the way to act 4 on my own, no guide, nothing just taking in the atmosphere and plodding through the game. Loving it now. Admittedly there's a time and a place for a game like that but cheez I love it now.

it's just so dam difficult. I love the premise, but within first 20mins I keep getting my ass handed to me by some dog like robot which mostly i just cannot see, but it spots me from a million miles away.

@A01 so true. just spent 90 mins and achieved....nothing. so so so frustrating. an amazing world / environment but utterly mind boggling.

@BAMozzy i know a few mates i used to play GE with back in the late 90s (a pool of about 10 people). we're all in our 40s now. married, kids etc. Get round a mates gaff for a bong and a go on GE just doesn't happen, hence why we all pinned our hopes on online multiplayer. Incidentally these guys do not have an xbox or GP but were willing to take the plunge once GE came out...sadly that aint happening now. so in my little world its a massive missed opportunity for the developers to not to not add a "more modern" way of playing GE multiplayer.

@BBB Nail. On. Head. That style of music totally does my head in completely. I don't think i could stand this game for more than 1 minute cos of that annoying style of music - couldn't watch all the trailer.

That said I'll be giving it a dam good go on day 1 thanks to GP...hopefully it'll all mesh well together and i won't "notice" the music.

Scorn, to me, looks lovely...but it also looks incredibly dull. I so so so hope i'm wrong.

@Markatron84 that's a goodun. mine was either that or castle of illusion or Indiana Jones and Last Crusade - all on master system.

@ChopperCampbell I did. I gave it a dam good go. Once in a while though there are games which are just way too difficult for me. Hitman 3 is one of them - I just keep getting spotted / busted / beaten up, etc.
(The Ascent is another.)

I loved this game. the artwork and the music and the setting. but it was just so dam difficult. I just could not defeat the first mech type ed209 type thing. so frustrating.

sounds like a punishment to me, everything they've done since 1991s masterpiece blood sugar sex magik just sounds like a nursery rhyme, and they've caved into Middle Of The Road dullness.

honestly fell asleep playing this game. truth.

but i was definitley intrigued.

If a survival game based in the Terminator world turns out to be rubbish then that's a big missed opportunity.

I seem to remeber Q4 being a launch title on the 360...and it was widely regarded as being....well...complete pants.

@Kooky_Daisuke @bleachedsmiles yeah horses for courses. For me, the fact that Gordon Freeman was mute just made it all the more immersive and memorable....I felt I became Gordon freeman as I tended to reply out loud to Alyx's / Dr. Vance / Barneys comments!

@EvilSilentFrame didn't know that - cheers! I want to believe it'll be ASAP, but I really think we're talking 60th Anniversary of Dr. No. to coincide with everything Bond-on-screen related's anniversary.

that's cool n'all, but what i'd like to be able to do through this xbox app is just locally stream my XSX which is in another room.

My 2p: it'll coincide with the 60th anniversary of Dr. No since Danjaq would have needed to sanction this, so I'm punting for a showing on June 12th for an october release and
I reckon you'll be able to switch between remastered graphics and original N64 Graphics.

Seriously seriously pumped for this.
