It's clearly still not working for some people, so let's hope they're just slowly rolling it out.

Update: Hollow Knight, Paw Patrol World and Cataclismo appear to have survived! Xbox has shared the full list of Game Pass leavers for December 2025, and they aren't part of it.

@MaccaMUFC We've got a story coming out soon about this - basically it seems it's bugged at the moment. The only people that can access it are GTA+ subscribers and those who have actually bought the new version.

We're going to have to sit tight and see what happens!

@AlwaysPlaying It's not on sale at the moment on the Xbox Store (at least in my region), but the new version should appear with a 50% discount at midnight local time.

@Megabeenz 100%! It's amazing throughout, but in particular I'd say Split Fiction and The Walking Dead S1 have my all-time favourite video game endings.

That last level in Split Fiction is just one of the most jaw-dropping experiences I've ever had! Absolutely incredible.

@Pigrotto Glad to hear it! I really liked Keeper in the end, it's the kind of game that sticks long in the memory.

@PsBoxSwitchOwner @Megabeenz Yeah, I think GOTY is probably too much (how did Split Fiction not get nominated for that though?!), but it certainly deserved more nominations in other categories like art and audio design.

Agreed! It's one of my favourite games of 2025.

@Chip-Douglas I'm enjoying the Simpsons season personally! It's actually the first time I've got back into Fortnite in years.

Worth booting up for a couple of games at least.

@Oldgamer03 Why do we need to pick a side though? We're trying to find a balance - highlight the positive stuff and the negative stuff, rather than one or the other.

We actually used to get criticised for being too negative, so that was a piece of feedback we took on board at the time.

In regards to BO7 on the Ally, this is just meant as a quick "Hands On" of what it's like to play on there - nothing more, nothing less. We highlighted the Series X, Series S, Xbox One and Xbox One X versions last week, so this was the last remaining "Xbox" version to cover.

The full review of the game itself is coming soon (the previous one was just for the campaign).

@themightyant Yep, I don't know what's happened there. Perhaps Square Enix didn't have their timings right? Who knows.

@Kaloudz I believe it's a new version with new achievements, yeah. Again though, they haven't spelled it out yet.

@Banjo- Rockstar suggests it does, but they haven't spelled it out - so we'll have to wait and see.

In regards to the mods, it works exactly the same as it does on a standard Windows PC - you can get into the desktop and move files around (or just use the likes of the Steam Workshop).

Honestly, I'm not sure about your second point. It definitely seems a big risk as you say, but I assume they're having those discussions right now and trying to make it make sense. Who knows?
