Just to be clear, this is a visual redesign and not a functional one — they still work exactly the same way as before, but now the default colour scheme, logo and font is different compared to what we see on console.

All the way back in 2023, it was suggested that Microsoft wanted to overhaul Xbox achievements at some point in the future, but it was just a matter of priorities and time. Will it extend to consoles at some point as well? Who knows! There's a lot of speculation that the new Cloud Gaming dashboard might be a hint at a future UI across multiple devices though, so we wouldn't be surprised if it happens.
