Roundup: All The Reveals From 2025's Xbox Partner Preview Showcase

A boring one for me. Xbox really needs to figure out how to generate excitement again. Too many IPs forgotten or languishing in development for far too long. I truly hope they can turn things around, because a console market dominated by Sony and Nintendo would be horrific for consumers. At least Valve is stepping in with their new console-like device.

Good show: 8/10! 9 games in Game Pass, 100% Xbox Play Anywhere, shadow drops. Impressed by Armatus, Reanimal, Total Chaos, Zoopunk, Tides of Annihilation of course, and Raji.

This was definitely not worth watching. What a boring show with like one interesting reveal. I guess the big Showcase earlier in the year is the one worth watching.

Doesn’t look like there was much there for me, but I’ll skim through everything tomorrow to know for sure.

It was a B show with some good games, but I'm expecting more high-quality content to justify the price increase.

As I've previously stated, Xbox should release more single-player AA/AAA content on day one to justify the price increase by increasing the overall value of Game Pass. Out of the 75 day-one games released each year, I fully expect 20-25 to be high-quality AA/AAA single-player games such as Clair Obscur, South of Midnight, Avowed, Hellblade 2, Hi-Fi Rush, Doom, Gears, Indiana Jones, Halo, the upcoming Fable, Clockwork Revolution, the Blade game, the new Crash Bandicoot, etc.

I'd also like to see more Japanese games like Yakuza, Persona, Final Fantasy, the Mana series, and Code Vein, as well as anime games like Naruto, Demon Slayer, Bleach, Jujutsu Kaisen, and so on. There are JRPGs/anime games that are very popular and can appeal to many anime fans who can use Game Pass exclusively for these types of games.

Total Chaos, Armatus, Reanimal and The Mound were standouts for me. Was already set on 007 and Zoopunk looks interesting. Some good stuff!

Other than that, nothing I would even consider buying or downloading on GP.

Some people didn’t get that this was a Partner Showcase, and as such it was a really good one. It’s impossible to be that jaded. They showed games that look pretty amazing, like Tides of Annihilation, Armatus, Reanimal, Total Chaos, Zoopunk, Raji, etc.

9 third‑party titles coming day one to Game Pass, a shadow drop, and 100% Xbox Play Anywhere support — what are people even complaining about, seriously?

This wasn’t the place to expect Fable, you need to read.

@Chip-Douglas maybe you'll get something at the Game Awards, or in Xbox's yearly Developer Direct in January. A Partner Showcase is - as the name says - a showcase for third-party publishing partners, though.

Was ok. Tides of Annihilation appearing besides the State of Play was nice.

Zoopunk is fair but looks as typical as any anthropomorphic animal games and underwhelming mechanics but fair world/story use for them as animals.

Sees platformer, sees what it is, moves away because of course it's a metroidvania and in such styles, boring.

Raji is fair, but otherwise this is a pretty eh show.

Sure some Bond, sure some fair big stuff, some decent to whatever throwaway Indies compared to better ones shown.

This show is a C to D to F. So much safe or modern era stuff I don't care for and why I keep not supporting modern gaming more and more. I'm not their target audience so why should i contribute?

I don't have to be but I'm just not giving them my money. The game design just isn't there.
