At the moment, a bonus 'Endgame' mode unlocks for Black Ops 7 players who've suffered through the game's cobbled-together story campaign - but thankfully, the team is about to drop the campaign completion requirement for its bonus extraction mode.
Yep, developer Treyarch has announced that starting Friday, November 21st, Endgame will be available to all Black Ops 7 players straight away. Those who slogged through the campaign mode before this update will be getting multiple XP tokens and Zombies mode rewards as a result of this requirement change.
"If you've already completed the Co-Op Campaign to unlock Endgame, we're sending additional rewards your way. Players who've already gained access to Endgame before it's unlocked for everyone on Friday will receive:
- 3x 1-Hour Double Level XP Tokens
- 3x 1-Hour Double Weapon XP Tokens
- 3x 1-Hour Double Battle Pass XP Tokens
- 3x Perkaholic GobbleGums"
At this early stage in Black Ops 7's lifecycle, there are some fans of Call of Duty's experimental new co-op mode - so it's probably good news that its campaign requirement is being dropped. This means that new players can jump straight into Endgame if they so choose!
Over the last few days, the team has also dropped two new patches to fix things up across campaign, multiplayer and Zombies - you can check out the patch notes for those on the Call of Duty blog, and we'll throw our summary on the game's first patch from last weekend down below as well.
