I'm sure I've got several DLC packs to download for this. Somehow I just feel a bit 'meh'. I guess I should play more of the challenge maps. Skins I'm not bothered and the Arkham Episodes (that i have played so far) were FAR too short.

@Rezalack +1 to that! Even if we cannot delete them, hide the doozies from the stats. I've got a few games that 'scar' my list, that I would really like to go away.

I thought Thief was quite good. Will definitely look at VanHelsing.

It's a no from me. I don't play MP enough to make this worthwhile. IF it had a decent SP campaign, I'd have got this day one as it is pure eye-candy.

@KelticDevil Yeah. That's pretty much what the reviews said. Not enough SP and the MP was limited to four (?) maps. That and an extortionate season pass cost.
I was keeping an eye on it as it is visually stunning, but I'm more of a campaign person on shooters. If I play MP, I'm cannon fodder. LOL

This game is getting poor reviews from Amazon customers...

I had a play with custom backgrounds first time around. TBH I'm not very artistic so I ended up blagging a Batman one from the interwebs. When I got the new dash it all went squirrely so I just use a screenshot now as Yoshi mentions. Currently it's a nice knee-down shot from Ride. If anyone (more talented than me) fancies dropping some cool ones on here, I'd certainly take a look.

...and why oh why can't Xbox use OneDrive to pick-up custom images. I don't bother with USB sticks so have to dig one out whenever I decide to change the background to something non-screenshot

Sounds all too similar to The Crew, which was shite (IMO). I was hoping this would go back to the "Need For Speed Underground" day on older consoles. I'll give this a miss and watch it hit the bargain bin soon (just like The Crew).

Assassins Creed Syndicate for me with a bit of WWE 2K16 if I get time. Sadly Fallout 4 and Tomb Raider are on my wishlist - which at this close to Christmas becomes my "you better not buy anything on that list before Dec 25th" list

I vote for a PureXbox meet (or should that be MEAT) up at Ken's town. I hear there's a quaint little take away place we should visit.

I've just started playing this (peer pressure from my WWE loving Son) having never played a WWE game before. The thing I found most annoying was the extremely limited tutorial. It explained a couple of things that sound like they are new for this year - the submission circle thing (pain in the ass!) and how to play the grapple 'mini game', but that's about it. I was left with no clue how to perform any moves. I was far from impressed when I loaded the 'Help' section of the game, only to be told (after a short wait for loading) to visit a website!!! WTF?!?!
I've only played the NXT section so far (to get some experience of how to play), but can relate to the comments above. It's okay for a change of scene, but I can't see me playing for hours or buying a follow-on title.

No email for me I guess this is kinda like Sky TV offering the movies for a month...then charging if you don't cancel.

Hmmm...My Wife's birthday is early next month. I wonder if she wants (read as NEEDS) a new Lara Croft game. LOL That's if I can get her away from AC Syndicate!

Nice review @SuperKMx. Really pleased to hear the story is good and the exploring side is being increased. I did think the tombs on the last game were a little too basic. Will be picking this up if 'Santa' doesn't bring it to me.

@stylon As you seem to be the only other person I know that ENJOYS the campaigns on COD...I'd be interested to know what it's like. I've played (and loved) some of the older COD's but lost interest when the campaigns got shorter and shorter. I'm shite at MP so usually end up playing spawn, die, spawn, die. LOL

@SuperKMx - Don't worry. Using the MS dollar to GBP conversion is just changing the $ to a £ anyway. LOL

@Ryno - I get that all day at work (US dominating). Please don't bring it here HAHA Although I will admit the last four holidays we've had were to Florida (x3) and Mexico. I do like the USA.

Nothing for me this time I was really hoping for Fallout 3, with 4 around the corner. I played the GOTY edition to death and have lost the disc (probably traded in with a bunch of stuff to raise funds for a new game). I only need 8 more achievements to get all 72 and 100% it.

After playing 8-9 hours of AC Syndicate yesterday, I'm handing the controller to the Wife so she can catch up with me.
If anyone is a fan of AC series, but was put off by Unity...Don't be! I'm loving this game. Already noticed some nice touches to early AC games (remember the wiping of a feather on a targets blood after an assassination? It's now a handkerchief, but its there). Plus all the things I hated in Unity (multiplayer, companion app, etc) are GONE!

I agree with @Stylon about the setting. It was definitely a draw factor for me as I grew up on the outskirts of London and my Dad (RIP) was a Policeman on the River Thames. I did spot the London Eye as the game intro started last night, so maybe there is some present day links too.
Sadly the need for sleep got the priority and the Wife nicked the controller.

Great review. I'm seriously tempted to go to midnight release now to collect my copy.

I have noticed a lot more advertising on TV for PS4 consoles and multi-platform games with exclusive PS4 content!!!. Where a multi-platform title is shown, the gameplay is often PS4.
Come on MS. Show the potential buyers what they can expect with an XB1!

Glad to see there is more content for this, although I've not played since completing main story (except the stupid mines/tanks side missions needed for 'full' completion, and the riddler challenges which I've done around 70% of).
I am still a little bit disappointed with the DLCs. Ignoring skins (which should be free anyway!) the episodes are far too short. I was expecting a good chapter whereas they are more like challenge maps. Maybe I expected too much from this following Arkham City (which I still feel is the best Batman game).

Holy Smokes! I was almost, for a minute or two whilst watching some rugby on TV, tempted to get this. When I saw it was by the same team as Rugby 15 I backed away quietly. After reading this review, I'm even more glad I didn't get it. One star? Looks like you only gave it this as the rating system won't allow any less.
