Me too! It's like a habit I can't break. I visited this site multiple times every day for my Xbox news fix and forum banter. I just know one of these days I'll click the favourite link and I'll get the dreaded "Page cannot be found"

@stylon Do you think that would have made a difference? I know I read a lot more articles/threads than I comment on. Surely click-count would be a factor rather than just comments. I'm sure Ken and the 'powers that be' had their reasons for closing down, but it is a real shame...for us anyway.

Okay...so I'm literally shocked that Px is going. How can the other sites keep going when they are full of snide comments and bitchy arguments, yet Px is closing? I was one of the OXM refugees that found a new home here after a similar demise there. I think the comment I read was along the lines of "go check out PureXbox. It's a relatively quiet site, but run by a good team". I joined and have been a visitor here multiple times a day ever since. I like to get updates on new releases, HONEST reviews and enjoy the banter in the forums. I'm genuinely sad to hear the site is going and I hope all the editorial team know how much we all appreciate the hard work they put in to make this the great site it was.
@SuperKMX and team - I wish you all the best for the future and I hope you are keeping your GT's so I can keep in touch.

I've neglected my Forza games lately but just checked and I too am level 7.

Not watched the conference yet, but I am interested in TF2 now it has a SP campaign.

Crazy game. Will keep an eye on this.

I liked Sniper Elite 2 and 3. Definitely be watching this one.

I've played Forza Motorsport 3,4 and 5 plus Horizon 1 and 2. I have to admit Horizon is much more fun to play than motorsport. It's interesting to see the off road stuff (that was DLC in Horizon 2) is in the trailer. Must have been popular! I'll probably add this to my wish list for Xmas unless I'm stuck for a game to play around Sept.

Hmm. I'll be watching the details for this. I'm not sure if I'll upgrade but I do know it won't be day one. Whatever price this thing is, it'll drop after a few months and unless I win the lotto, I'm not splashing £s just to be first. 😀

I liked WatchDogs, but it was a bit samey. I completed the main campaign but never went back for the remaining achievements. Think I'll wait for reviews before deciding.

Maybe my kinect will listen to me now Bloody thing ignores me unless I really shout. I did try the calibration with varying volume levels from low to 'too freakin loud' (1000w surround sound) but nothing worked. Glad to see Cortana will work with headsets as kinect died when the kinect-less xbox went on sale.
Not sure I like the Xbox/PC thing. i can't help but think this is the slippery slope towards PC gaming.

As posted, I am in the preview program AND enrolled for NXE previews...BUT I did have to enroll again for the new preview as the default was for the 'current' NXE (which was the previous early adopter - if that makes sense).

I'm in the preview program already too. You need to go to the app and change 'current nxe experience' to preview new nxe experience.

I bet it'll include Cortana.

Goldberg is a legend. I did try to get a good 'skin' for him in WWE2k16. Not sure It's enough for me to buy 2k17, but I look forward to seeing him back in the ring.

I'm not getting excited for VR until I've seen it take off. I've been stung twice by Kinect (which I thought was good, but let down by lack of games) so I'm not jumping on the VR hype-train yet.
I really hope it is as good as it could be as this would be a major step forward in gaming, but then so was Kinect when it was announced

@SuperKMx Ooh. That makes it more tempting. I'd be curious to see a comparison (which will surely pop-up on the interwebs soon) between the old and new versions.

@SuperKMx I'm not sure if it's coincidence but I got into Argents tower tonight and the demons definitely seemed harder (the big fat ones that you feed their hearts to if you glory kill).

Spot on review of the campaign. I weakened and got this the day after release (yes Mr @Stylon I'm looking at you! ) I like the way the levels play out - bonkers gore-fest then safe to explore for the collectibles (and let your heart rate settle). I did start out a bit cocky on the 'Ultra Violence" difficulty, but I was dying often so dropped it to 'Hurt me plenty' which I'm finding challenging but enjoyable. I can move or shoot, but doing both at the same time is tricky LOL

Hmm...Scorpio. wasn't she one of the two that were sacked for taking drugs? Shadow I think was the other. 😃

Anyone know if the achievements will carry over or you can get them again (like GTA V)?

Meh. I have The Crew and it is not great. I may get this goat thing just to see what it's about. Not bothered by the others.

I might pick this up for £11. I've just completed COD AW an am picking off a few easy achievements before diving back into Doom.

EDIT: Just checked. Apparently I already played it and completed the campaign. LOL Saved myself £11

Kinect died the day MS started selling consoles without it.

I have to agree with @BAMozzy. If I were in the market for a console, I'd be holding out until the new console rumours are confirmed.

@Red620Ti There is no 'new' ghostbusters! There's a rubbish remake of a classic film. I refuse to associate it with one of my favourite films from my youth.

This is hilarious. As if 'YouTube' likes/dislikes are any indicator of how a game will sell. I got bored of CoD after MW2 and can see why the fans of military shooters are unhappy with the sci-fi direction, but this will still sell by the boatload. I don't like the way the MW remake is (currently) only available if you buy the more expensive versions of the new game, but again I'm sure this is only temporary.

EDIT: Okay, so I watched the YouTube trailer. IF that is XB1 gameplay, I'm impressed! I'm actually interested to see if there is a decent single player campaign (although based on previous titles, I don't hold much hope). The (at time of writing) 1.4 million dislikes is clearly disgruntled fans voting multiple times, bots or just people jumping on the bandwagon. I gave it a positive vote as it did look interesting and graphically very good.

I loved Arkham City and enjoyed Arkham Asylum but I'll wait to see the price before I'll think about this. I'm not paying £40 to replay games I own already.

Back on topic, the only one of those that I was remotely interested in is CoD...and that's purely on the off-chance there is a campaign longer that a couple of hours

How did I miss this thread!!?? Oh my, how this brought back memories! This was one of my favourite PC games. I can still remember the HOURS downloading the 'blood patch' over my 56k modem so the 'zombies' with green blood were replaced with...errr...people with red blood.
I still have the CDs for 1 and 2, but sadly my Ltd Ed 'blood' mouse mat bit the dust long ago

I may have to get this just for the nostalgia value.

D'oh. I thought RotTR DLC was going to be on offer. I'll keep waiting.

SSX is good but SSX Tricky is the BEST! I'd love to see a remake of that. Tokyo Megaplex!!!!

Argh. That last achievement on SSX is coming back to haunt me. I must 100% it!

@KelticDevil I did not "proclaim doom and gloom" at all. I commented on the fact that the DLC is almost exclusively MP related. As many games lately seem to favour a MP audience, I just HOPE the campaign is still a big part of the game. I appreciate many people like MP FPS game, so the DLC will interest them. I just don't want GoW to go down the CoD route of being an MP game with a very small SP piece tacked on.
