@Gamer83 I was a regular on OXM UK and even stayed after it merged with the US site. Agree with you though - it went downhill rapidly once the management changed and the decent writers were binned off. It's not all bad though cos a lot of us 'refugees' found PX instead.

@Gamer83 I agree with you. I was really looking forward to Arkham Knight after playing Arkham City to death and then playing Arkham Asylum. Maybe the hype was too much for it to live up to, but I find myself not as enthusiastic about it as I was the previous titles.

@lucieisawesome Sadly I (despite protesting) bought the season pass. I know I'm a sucker! So excluding the skins (not bothered) and the predator missions which I've not got into, I've paid quite a bit more than £1.50 per story.

I really must get back on Arkham Knight and finish that bloody campaign. I've only got a few mines in each zone to do, but those militia tanks are ridiculous. I usually have a few tries then go off on a riddler trophy hunt (have around 70% now).

Here's hoping this DLC is a bit more than the other 'add on' stories (Harley Quinn, etc). I completed them in 10-15 mins each..and I'm no legendary gamer.

Isn't there an element of irony here. Microsoft buy entire game companies to get 'exclusive' games for their consoles (as I'm sure the others do too). Surely this breeds the 'us/them' mentality? Then again even multi-console games are not exempt as certain gamers will take to the forums to claim the version on (insert console/PC here) is better than the others.
I think the 'anonymity' of the virtual world allows people to express themselves in a way that they would not normally. I have friends who have Playstations and we engage in harmless banter about who's console is best, but that's as far as I go. Ultimately it's good to have a choice and I personally would like to see ALL games released for all consoles (where possible) and none of this "exclusive to abc console" and "exclusive additional content for xyz console" crap.

Finally - thumbs up to Px for creating a community where GAMERS can hang out. We're not all the same, but I feel I can comment here without being judged or criticised based on my choice of console.

It's quite disappointing that all footage of gameplay seems to be from a PS4. It would be nice to see what it looks/plays like on an Xb1.

Nice review. I pretty much agree with all you said (following my time on the demo). I've played all forzas from 3 onwards but feel it 'lost' something in Forza 5. I really wanted 6 to bring back the thrill, but for me the demo reinforced my opinion that this will be low down on my wish list.

Hmm...played the demo but just couldn't get excited about it. It's Forza5 with night and weather. I don't like the fact that challenges have to be completed before moving on. I prefer to just race. Jury's out on this for me...

Not played original Gears for years. Absolutely loving this although only just started the campaign...solo, on Hardcore. Standard!

Having just completed the Harley Quinn and Red Hood 'storylines', I must admit to being more than a little disappointed. They are SO short in content. Each one took me around 30 minutes (if that). The BatGirl DLC appears to be a little better.

Okay - I'll start by saying I've only played this for a couple of hours so maybe I've yet to find stuff and I've not played PGA Tour games since 2011(played most of them between 2007 and 2011), but....
Where is the rest of the game? No putt preview, no create a golfer from a photo of yourself, no skins matches!!!, no gamernet challenges and when you play a tournament, it skips half the holes? I can't even say I'm blown away by the visuals as it's okay but nothing special.

Like Stylon - I'm also on Level 6, but that nets me the Lambo. Happy days! I know I bought a lot of cars on Forza5 just to get the achievement for having 'lots' of cars.

Personally, I would rate (best to last): City, Knight, Asylum then Origins. I haven't played the other title.

One million DOWNLOADS but how many people are actually playing it? I tried and gave up waiting on the loading screen. Uninstalled it straight away.

Like @crippyd, I've been playing from release day...and love it. I can agree with some parts of the review in that some characters are under-used. I'm just over 50% on the main story (1st play thru) and have been picking off some of the side quests as I go. I'm liking the riddler challenges even if the batmobile is a sod to handle. I'll definitely be playing again once completed on New Game+ mode.

I've been reposting this to all my friends on Facebook. AC:BF is a great game.

I must dig this out again. I started to play around Christmas but just couldn't get into it. Same for Alien isolation.

How does the external drive cope speed-wise? I've been put off in case it's not quick enough.

Hmmm...Jury's out on this. I played Fallout 3 a lot (in fact it's #2 for points on my TA scoreboard) and really liked it. Fallout Vegas just didn't have the same appeal for me. I don't think I competed it even. Now #4 is coming, I'm wondering if it will rekindle the interest.

Looking forward to some new Gears news. I'm a big fan of Gow but I'm not sure if I'll go for a re-master as there are some really good 'new' games on the One now. I may wake up one day and decide I NEED to replay the campaigns if they are significantly better on the One.

I'm with BAM...had my disc-version on order for eons! Cannot wait to get my mits on it now.

Worth mentioning that meditation doesn't restore health on the harder levels (Blood and Broken Bones onwards). I've not played 1 or 2 but am loving this. I was hoping this would fill a gap before Arkham Knight, but I now realise this is a MUCH bigger game. I'm planning to complete as many quests as possible so this will definitely be one I come back to after or during my Arkham Knight play through.

OMG! I had that bad boy! Did you also 'revise' the gear-shift layout? I'm sure I changed one small part in the selector and gave it an extra gear. I made it into a version of a 'Volvo-estate' with opening bonnet, boot and even a sunroof!

@stylon That was what I was thinking - a Lego version of Minecraft creative mode, but now I read the rest of your post - you make a good point. I'm another 'grew-up with lego' person who had a lot of the technical sets (pre technic!). Maybe some 'hands-on' building and problem solving would be better.

I think a virtual lego building set with unlimited bricks would be awesome.
