Managed to download silksong remotely but it won’t let me start it. Keeps asking about my game pass subscription or if I purchased the game. And the store isn’t working either.

Despite playing gears 1 numerous times I cannot wait to play this on PlayStation.

Just checked and I have a near 140gb update after downloading the 150gb game and a patch. Oof.

I think they nailed the core gameplay in infinite and there were lots of variations in the banished enemy variety. The Prometheans from 4 and 5 were just awful enemy design. But still prefer the bungie era.

At least the locust are back. Is this game coming before 6 or after? Is it developed by the coalition or someone else like judgement? Either way something to look forward to.

Not surprised starfield isn’t nominated tbh. It’s pretty underwhelming and half baked. Definitely not the same calibre as everything else on the list.

Halo universe is ripe for spin offs and I thoroughly enjoyed ODST and reach. In fact I enjoyed all the bungie halo games. But with 343’s track record I’m not getting my hopes up.

Yawn. Once you’ve played one Ubisoft game you played them all.

A surprise or two would have been nice. Personally found that showcase underwhelming.

Halo show was terrible. The last of us on the other hand is looking to be a hit.

@themightyant they needed to show something to get people excited about the series x. It’s a shame they had no games closer to release to actually market. Hopefullly Xbox can start putting out these triple an exclusives soon. 2023 is make or break after a very lacklustre 2022.

Wasn’t this game used to promote the release of the series x. Baffling that it is still not out yet.

I agree with others that the core gameplay is great and enemy variety is great however the open world is severely lacking. With the 6 year wait from the last entry, dare I say I expected a lot more with a lot more polish.

Let’s see if we get a special edition ps5 for GOW ragnarok and how it compares. Side note I hate how these special editions are 1 and done, would be nice if they did a limited drop for the general public.

Wasn’t starfield already delayed from last year. Everyone was pretty sure it would release this year. Sigh. Microsoft really need to work on their project management. And the game really really really needs to deliver when it eventually releases.

@mousieone well I really enjoyed the game and thought it was a truly next gen “Sony Banger”.I honestly hadn’t felt haptics like that till I played returnal and truly commend Sony with what they’ve done with the duel sense.The way the story played out was also unique and kept me hooked. But each their own I suppose 👍🏼. In terms of pricing I don’t feel ripped of at all. The game cost me £65 at launch and I’ve played and had fun for well over 30hours and still haven’t finished the 3rd act.

@mousieone Maybe it didn’t sell as well because it is a new IP and a PS5 exclusive. We all know how scarce they are. The haptics of the controller actually do feel next gen and if you play a game that supports it you’ll know what I mean. The game must have impressed the Sony bigwigs because they acquired the studio.

@mousieone I would say so. It reviewed well and I played it and really really enjoyed it. It honestly felt like a next gen game especially with the haptics. On the issue of sales how can you compare a full priced game with game pass.

@Halucigens I agree Microsoft had a great year this year (finally) but Sony puts our bangers every year. This year with R&C and Returnal. Next year will be interesting with HFW, GOWR and GT. Will be interesting to see what Microsoft have to offer.

By certain type of game does he mean quality GOTY contender games? Sony know what consumers want and have dominated the PS4/XBO generation. Hopefully in a few years Xbox exclusives will rival their PlayStation counterparts. BTW not a “Sony pony” I have both consoles.

Surely Arabic is classed as a major language with it being spoken throughout the Middle East so why wouldn’t games be in Arabic, especially a big budget game like this. #ArabicHaloInfinite

Hate stuff like this. Sony was doing this a while ago crediting random customers psn wallets but most people were left out and upset. I imagine it’ll be the same this times too.
