Edit: I've been somewhat sour on gamefreak for a number of years - just utterly sick of the warm diarrhea they've been spoon feeding Pokémon fans for so long. This makes it even worse: they obviously do have creative, talented developers. Do they just not bother with Pokémon or is it related to Nintendo in some way? I would love to hear their perspective on working with Nintendo Vs working with Microsoft.

This looks really fun and unique, I'm really looking forward to trying it.

One of the best co op experiences I've ever had, absolutely wonderful game. I honestly prefer it to BG3 in some ways.

Absolutely fantastic shadow drop. Saw reviews on pc a couple years ago and was really intrigued. I've just played it for an hour and it seems very immersive. That other game looks great, too, and seems to be reviewing really well.

Absolutely outrageous price increase for the only tier that matters. Not in the least bit interested in any of the rubbish that's been added. This is very disappointing news.

@Tdx yep, I'm with you. Unfortunately, there seems to be a huge audience who would rather watch games than actually play them, and they lap that nonsense up.

I absolutely love this game. The entire vibe is just phenomenal and the gameplay is superb fun.

@Tasuki pretty sure there's no need to have played the first one. They're completely different games in every respect, as far as I know.

I am extremely excited for Helldivers 2. I pre-ordered it the moment it was announced, and I almost never preorder games.

@Retrokingdan I'm really confused about this. This site claims there is no pre installation, but I myself have 22gb or thereabouts downloaded already. Any idea if we'll need to download more at time of release?

I'd be somewhat keen to try Spiderman but can't think of anything else off the top of my head, apart from Helldivers, which has already been confirmed.

This is an absolutely wonderful game, I've had a great time this morning. It's so unique. It's a little disheartening to see that the only comments here are so dismissive.

I hope the game can find an audience, as I want to see more of this sort of experimentation and creativity in our hobby.

The game has a PvE mode, too, though I haven't tried it myself.

These look really interesting - love to see good indy games on gamepass.

I'm incredibly excited for this one. I do understand that having a product you've already paid for being changed years after purchase might seem unfair and irksome, but I hope this issue doesn't have a big impact on the game's success.

Not a word on cross play?

Had no idea what to expect but turned it on yesterday. This is one of the funniest and most innovative multiplayer games I've played in ages. I can't wait to play more later.

Really excited for Rematch and Against the Storm this month.

Fingers crossed it does come really soon. Hopefully gamepass can help get player numbers off to a really strong start until then.

This game desperately needed cross play at launch, in my opinion. I'm looking forward to playing it, though.

@Fiddleroyolanda different strokes for different folks and all that, friend, but most of those games are wildly overrated. I feel the same about Xbox games. I won't lie, I do wish I could play Helldivers, Astrobot and Ghost, though.

There should be an option saying, "I would be really excited if I had faith in current Bethesda to do the thing justice." I am cautiously optimistic.

I really hope the second is much more of a Hogwarts simulator. Playing as an insane wizard deviant that never slept or ate and murdered everything within a 50km radius of Hogwarts was fun in short bursts, but I'm not particularly interested in doing it again.

Have played a few hours on 33 Immortals. I was cautiously optimistic and the game has exceeded my expectations. Some great progression and really interesting mechanics. Highly recommend trying it.

Great news, was to be expected. Space Marine was easily my game of the year last year, nothing else comes particularly close.

Have you played online much? If so, do you know if the constant "all players have been replaced by AI" issue that plagued the previous two games (and was never addressed) is still present?

I can't remember ever enjoying an RPG more than this. It's an absolutely fantastic game.

I've been looking forward to this for a long time. I'll be very surprised if they're able to top or even match some of Mimimi's efforts but fingers crossed.

Nothing comes close to Space Marine 2, in my opinion. It's much more fun to play than anything else on the list. Stalker being ahead of it is ridiculous.

@Nintendo4Sonic I'm pretty sure this is fairly standard for 2K with their WWE games recently. It is absolutely scandalous, they deserve serious criticism for it.

4 games in December? That's a bit disappointing.

I have sympathy for their circumstances, but they have absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with the quality of the game. I find it appalling that the conclusions on many of the reviews, particularly the very positive ones, are mostly about the circumstances of the Devs while they made the game. It may well be inspiring, but it's not relevant. It's a reviewer's job to give us the information we need to decide if we want to buy the game, lots of reviewers seem to forget that.

Finally been able to start the game, after trying at various points throughout the day. I'm on the character creator. It seems I'll have to be a south American looking guy on this game, as there are absolutely no Caucasian options. Why not just include every option so people can make whatever character represents them? It's so bizarre.

There's a version of this on the store that costs £200. Gaming these days is a joke.

Why is the AI so unbelievably bad? It really lets the campaign down, in my opinion.
