@JayJ Call of Duty is one of the biggest selling yearly games. That’s the main reason Microsoft wanna buy them. Everything i say is fact. Joel is one of characters from my absolute number 1 game. Wat difference does my profile pic make? If a Microsoft dev made The Last of Us it would still be my absolute number 1 game.

@cburg i’m not on any side. I’m a gaming fanboy! I enjoy the best games which up to now have always been on Playstation. I really hope Starfield lives up to the hype an can rival some of Playstation’s exclusives. Like ya said, we’ll have to wait an see.

@NEStalgia that doesn’t matter. Some of Playstation’s biggest selling games are TLOU, Spiderman, GoW 2018, Ghost of Tsushima, Horizon, all made by Sony owned devs after Sony bought them. Xbox true exclusives, Halo, Gears, Forza don’t come close in sales so now MS are simply buying already huge, 3rd party games.
It’s like me inventing a new car and my cars become the best selling cars in the world so Ford buy Nissan, BMW, Volkswagen, Skoda an put Ford badges on their cars an Ford become the biggest sellers in the world.

@HunterRose it wasn’t an ya know it wasn’t. Why would it be? From a business point of view if it were to be exclusive Playstation exclusive would be the better choice. Playstation sell more consoles and more games. Biggest selling PS exclusive has about 28 million sales. Biggest selling Xbox exclusive has about 8 million!!

@cburg it is a fact Sony devs released AAA GOTY style games after Sony bought them, not before. It is a fact Microsoft have given up trying to compete with Sony by making like wise exclusives and are now simply trying to buy up already successful, 3rd party games. I played my PS5 949 hours this year and i played on 259 days!! My Series X would def be a lot less!!

Look at the devs Sony own, look at the games they released before Sony bought them, then look at the games they released after Sony bought them! Then look at Bethesda an Activision!! You see the difference??? Sony buy little known devs, invest an turn them in to masters of their trade. Microsoft are simply throwing their wallet about buying already huge, established devs with multi platform games. There’s a big difference!! Bethesda were making Starfield, a huge, multi platform game. MS buy Bethesda an make Starfield exclusive. Starfield isn’t an Xbox game, MS have done nothing towards Starfield!!

Shipment is nuts!!! Good fun tho!! I wish they’d add the classic maps that were added to Cold War, some of my absolute favs!! Raid, Shipment, Hijacked, Nuketown, Express, Standoff, Slums, etc.

Was expecting something about the supposed 2023 exclusives!!! Starfield, Redfall, Forza M, Hellblade 2, etc!! Yet nothing!!! Should we be worried??? Xbox will look like amateur fools if they delay these again!!

I think Sony’s problem is MS putting COD on Game Pass. I bought Mod Warfare 2 on release on PS5. Had it been on Game Pass i’d play it on my XSX. People comparing this acquisition to Playstation having exclusive content is dumb!! As ya know MS has far more cash than Sony! Why don’t MS get their own exclusive content or outbid Sony??? As for exclusivity, exclusives are fine. But throwing ya wallet about simply buying already huge, well established, multi platform franchises then making them exclusive is a ***** thing to do!!

@TheAshCohen09 yeah, it’s def improved. I got my PS5 on release so only going off wat i’ve been told. One mate got one last week in store but he had to pay a deposit about 8 days before. I’m in South Yorkshire, few mile from York.

@Sebatrox in my country, England, you can buy Series X in store, Series S has been in stores since 2021. PS5 comes in to stores but sells out. You have to drop on. If you can buy PS5 easily why would ya not buy them an sell on Ebay for £50 profit??

@Sebatrox you will do, it’s true. Especially now. Ya can walk in a store an get a Series X, Series S have been in stores over a year. PS5 is still a hassle to find.

@BRUTALSAM there’s no problem with thrm releasing exclusive games! The problem is them using their huge wallet to buy up already huge, established games that are currently multi platform an making them exclusive.

@BrilliantBill have to admit Sony’s output is better. They make better games and more of them. I think the problem with Starfield is we just don’t know. It sounds very optimistic, will they pull it off an release a AAA game??? Maybe, maybe not. If it were a Sony owned dev making it i think people would be more confident.

Playstation devs make far better games so Microsoft have tried to take a new approach an simply fling their cash about and buy ip huge, already established devs. Competition is good for the industry. If Microsoft crushed Playstation as you say this would be bad for Xbox. They could release any old ***** an people would have to make do.

Gran Turismo 7 won driving game of the year too which surprised me. I do actually prefer it to Forza H 5, i love the realism but i thought more people preferred Forza so thought that would win.

How long do they usually take to come to Game Pass?

@ValentineMeikin it’s only PS3 games that have to be streamed on PS+, everything else is downloadable. Also PS+ has more games and more gens than Game Pass.

Lets be honest, 2023 has to be an improvement!! Since release Playstation has absolutely crushed the competition. Lets see if Xbox can catch up a bit in 2023!!

The best game is without a doubt The Last of Us Part 1 on PS5. Best new game then God of War Ragnarok. Best game on my Xbox probably Elden Ring. Xbox has been ***** this year 3rd party games aside. Looking forward to 2023, just hope the big Xbox exclusives live up to the hype.

Was tempted to buy this, kinda the original Grand Theft Auto. GTA was originally gonna be called Race n Chase, you played as a police officer chasing bad guys. The office cleaner made an off the cuff remark, it’d be more fun to play as the bad guy!! Hence GTA was born!!
Looks like the type er game that’ll hit Game Pass or PS+ in a couple of month.

@Somebody i dunno. I own both machines, i love COD team death match an sometime play with a few mates, some are Xbox gamers, some Playstation so will be good for it to stay multi so i don’t have to only play with Xbox mates. If they put it on Game Pass i’m cool with that.

@Somebody yeah, Phil Spencer said the same. For a few years, Sony said this wasn’t good enough. Then they said a few years after Sony’s Activision contract expires. They’ve definitely back peddled a bit. An fol saying they’d def keep it on PS for the revenue, not true. MS would make tons more money if Bethesda games remained multi platform too. Yet they’re now exclusive to Xbox. Starfield was originally multi platform, not anymore.

@Green-Bandit he didn’t say it originally. At first he said COD will be on Playstation for A FEW more years. Then he said a few years afte PS current contract with Activision. Now he’s saying as long as PS gamers want COD they’ll get COD. Imo the initial plan was to make COD exclusive in 3 or 4 years. He now realises he has a choice, keep COD a multi platform game an secure the Activision deal or lose the Activision deal an Playstation still gets COD. There’s no two ways about it, wat ever happens COD must remain a Playstation game.

@StylesT the game has nothing to do with Harry Potter. It’s set 150 years before Harry Potter was born. I’ve seen the first movie wen it first come out, nothing else but already got this pre ordered.

@EliJapan it’s a bit different. Sony bought certain devs, employed certain staff, invested massively in these devs and made them incredible. Microsoft are simply throwing their cash about and buying all ready well established devs. If Microsoft made lets say COD Xbox exclusive, i know they’ve said they won’t do this, but if they did they’ll have had zero input in to the creation of COD. They’ll have simply monopolised an already huge franchise. I do hope the deal goes thro an if it does an COD goes to Game Pass that’s where i’ll play in future. I do think it would be wrong to make it exclusive tho, not everyone can afford 2 current gen consoles.

I love Flight Sim but i wish it didn’t treat gamers like they are clued up with how to navigate a flight! Would love to be able to type Grand Canyon, Pyramids, Niagra Falls, Mount Snowdon, etc an it puts a cursor on a map an gives ya a guide like in games like Grand Theft Auto. Would make it so much more enjoyable to play.
