@Kaloudz i agree with pretty much everything you said but i think this is why a lot have a problem with it. Sony make great games, MS buy great games. Seen stories today, can’t see it happening like, Sony apparently getting ready to buy Take Two. I think if they did they may make games like GTA exclusive, they may think PlayStation’s huge player base advantage will make the loss in Xbox sales worthwhile. I own both machines so i’d be ok but it would be a bit ***** if it became like the footie nowadays. If ya wanna see every Prem game ya need Sky Sports, BT Sport and Amazon Prime. That’s about £60 a month just for the footie!! That’s why millions go with a Fire Stick. £40 a year an you can watch anything!! What i get would cost me a few hundred a month legit!!

Microsoft is just throwing tremendous money at huge companies, with established multiplatform big hitters. Sony nurtures studios. The reason they were able to buy Insomniac for the price they did is because Insomniac wouldn't be the studio it is without Sonys investment and trust. Microsoft is using third party studios to help make some of its flagship titles. Sony has support studios. I have Series X Game Pass and appreciate the value, I just feel like Sony put in the work and Microsoft is trying to bully its way to the top.

@ActionPanther difference is Sony made the game. Bethesda made Starfield, Xbox had no input wat so ever. And you do know Spiderman was originally offered to Microsoft an Xbox? MS turned it down, Sony then said yes, the rest is history.

Got this on release on Playstation. I def recommend. Even if you never liked beat em ups. There’s a lot to mastering it. You have to literally become good at karate with the pad. Solid 9/10 for me as far as beat em ups go. Very technical.

@Moonglow the figures i posted are fact. Tencent isn’t competition as such. You only have to look at how many people own Xbox or Playstation compared to how many own mobile phones. Did Tencent become big by buying Apple and Samsung? No, they became big by making appealing products. Xbox should try it.

@Romans12 Sony is by far the biggest gaming company. They make just under double what Microsoft makes from gaming. Game sales probably do it, Hogwarts Legacy for instance, over 70% of sales were on Playstation. I haven’t checked this year but last year Game Pass had about 25 million subscriber, PS+ had 45.4 million.

PS+ extra got Evil Dead, Mafia Definitive Ed, Destiny 2, Horizon Forbidden West, The Quary, Borderlands 3, Outriders.

Microsoft did it with Bethesda and they will remove all further Activison games off PlayStation. This might not effect COD but it will effect other games. Bethesda hasn't shown anything and they were acquired over a year ago. Microsoft will basically own all these licenses and won't do anything with them. Just keep releasing the same games they’d have released without Microsoft.

@Ashadelo they wouldn’t agree to it. The deal Microsoft are currently offering says COD will come to Playstation. There’s no clause saying only thro Game Pass.

Why don’t Sony just come out and say exactly what they want? Wat would make them ok the deal? Would it pay if Microsoft offered Sony exclusive content like they get now? People would then simply choose, play COD on Game Pass or pay £60 to £70 for the content. Either way the cash goes in to Microsoft’s bank account.

Digital Foundry said the game runs better on PS5. Simply by chance i bought the PS5 version an it runs great. Not seen it on Series X.

PC, TV’s, mobile phones, Steam Deck, Nintendo aren’t really competition for Xbox. Insomniac wanted Xbox to make a Spiderman game, it would have been Xbox exclusive. Microsoft said no, it won’t sell very well!! 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

As for Naughty Dog they made games for Apple 2 originally. Then Crash Bandicoot which is good, then Sony bought them. Uncharted was their first game which is very good. Then came Uncharted 2 and 3 which were incredible!! Since then we’ve had Lost Legacy, Uncharted 4 and The Last of Us 1 and 2. TLOU 1 an 2, imo, are aguably the greatest story driven games ever made. Sony made Naughty Dog in to the dev they are today. Fact.

@Deshalu quantity over quality. PS3 did have TLOU which imo is number 1 but that also came to PS4. And you can make a gem developer, Sony did it. Since Sony acquired them every game Naughty Dog has made has been GOTY quality. And microsoft said they’d allow certain new Bethesda games on Playstation. Then they announced Starfield was exclusive an PS has had nothing since.

@Deshalu an i think PS4 is the best gen yet for quality of games. TLOU 2, Uncharted 4, God of War 2018, Days Gone, Spiderman, Ghost of Tsushima, etc.
And the argument MS need to do this as PS has been around longer is nonsense. If MS released games on a par with PS exclusives they’d close the gap. If a new console came out tomo, lets say a Play Box, an in 1 year had 5 exclusives that were stated as the best games even an this continued they’d catch up soon enough.

@Moonglow we already had 2 Spiderman games. We already know how good they were. This one will be better, PS5 exclusive for starters. We know nothing about Starfield.

You can’t call GOTY in February!!! Some saying Starfield, how on earth can ya know? It might be a right bag of *****, we’ve seen very little. I hope it lives up to the hype but no one has a clue. The only game that is not yet released that is pretty much guaranteed to be a contender is Spiderman 2. We all know that will be epic.
