Wow, haha nice it was finally announced. Am currently replaying MW2 remastered on PlayStation and nearly caved into buying MW3 for the old multiplayer maps.
Enjoyed it a lot, especially as a more traditional non bloated AC, but def in my bottom list. 1. Brotherhood 2. AC2 3. AC4 4. AC3 5. Origins 6. Revelations 7. Rogue 8. AC1 9. Valhalla 10. Syndicate 11. Unity 12. Mirage 13. Odyssey
@RazputinAquato yeah same although I would prefer BG3 on a handheld I think. But currently have plenty of games to play - and also I have divinity Sin 2 on my steam deck, which I’ll play more before also will see if BG3 really is for me.
@RazputinAquato absolutely agree. And I’m sure it’ll stay in that range either way. It’s just when I see all these post online and on X, people need to remember seeing things in context. But yeah ofc this seems based on just these few reviews that it would also be in the high 90s with similar review numbers to Zelda. Am myself closed to buy it, but dunno how it’ll be on Steam Deck still.
Based on 14 critics reviews vs Zelda’s 145 and FF16 140 reviews. I’m sure this game is amazing - definitely looks very good. But let’s wait to see until it gets more reviews.
I recently bought a Series X and a physical preowned limited edition for 15-20 usd (minus the DLC). Doesn’t the Series X has some 4K picture or something ?
Although I’ve never been good at playing Bethesda games, this looked absolutely awesome. I might even straight up buying this instead of subscribing to Gamepass - while gamepass the cheaper option, I know myself well enough that this game will take me months to through so games like these as one time purchase are more my thing now. Just curious to see how the Series S will be before choosing to buy or not.
I read something about the campaign requiring online connection - but it seems to be for PC only? Or is it the same for consoles too? Really liked the first reboot - but for full price only campaign, I’ll hold off till an eventual discount.
Had the original Xbox in my household as a child - got a series S last year for gamepass and all old Xbox games from 360 days + halo above all. Though currently I’m barely touching the Xbox as I’m playing more on PS5 and Switch atm
Never had an Xbox so I got the Series S. I think it’s amazing so far. Gamepass is awesome, and the additional features such as quick resume + FPS boost makes it even better. Additionally, the backwards compatibility means I’ve gotten cheap 360 games so I don’t have to use my old PS3 anymore for some of those games.
Got my first Xbox with the Series S this week, so have started with the first Halo game as well as trying a slew of other games. Gamepass really is a great service, and the Series S has turned out to be an amazing piece of hardware so far.
About to buy an Xbox for the first time, so I don’t really know the platform. Does Xbox Gold Games have a similar system to PlayStation i.e. PS Plus where you “redeem” the game, but you don’t have to download it immediately, so you can also just get back to it later?
My brother had the original Xbox back in the day, but since then I’ve been mainly a PlayStation guy. About to get myself the Series S though in a short while.
The director did a Danish interview at the end of 2018. I haven’t seen it translated anywhere else, but he stated back then that this game will still be similar to the others in terms of tone, but also a bit larger aka more exploring etc. Also, he had grown a bit tired of “limitations of 2D”, hence the 3D nature of the game. He also referred to the game as being “melancholic”.
Showcase got me excited, but with the announcements of Horizon and Spiderman on PS4, I’ll prob hold off till a PS5 Slim, and get Xbox SS instead. Game pass sells it for me + the great price.
I might be getting Series S as a first time Xbox buyer. I’ve Sony Mdr-1000x headphones. Does Xbox support Bluetooth headphones? PlayStation doesn’t really, unless I use a small Bluetooth dongle - I don’t like wired headphones.
@BlueOcean Yeah, time will tell - but def seems interesting. Also, I’ve a 10-15 year old tv, which only does 1080p60. And I’m not really a tech expert, so games will prob still look great to me as well, haha. So for me it’s basically between a new tv or console, or neither - and right now it’s leaning towards XBSS. Being a student together with being from Denmark doesn’t exactly call for having a lot of money, haha. Although the “pay in instalments”/ Xbox Access thing is interesting, however I don’t trust the Danish distributor in offering no additional charges.
@BlueOcean. True - I’m interested in Fable as well as Halo. My brother had the original Xbox so I’ve played Halo 1+2, but that’s the only Xbox exclusives I’ve played. Well mass effect and outer worlds too, but on PlayStation. I didn’t like outer worlds really, but the new game with Microsoft budget has potential. Also, with one not really having “Xbox nostalgia” all their old games on gamepass are enticing to me as I’ve never played them. Additionally, 4K, ray tracing and all that fancy stuff don’t really interest me too much, so the Series S is really enticing. Unless PlayStation swoops me over, but I don’t see that happening pertaining to either cheaper PS5 or complete overhaul of PS Now.
As someone who’s never owned Xbox, I’m really impressed with what they’re offering, and will prob get a Series S, due to its price. Gamepass along with EA Play now just sounds like a really, really great deal. Will still get PS5 eventually as I still prefer PlayStation and their exclusives are still quite better... but what Xbox shows has really impressed me.

@user0 yeah, thought the same. Also, despite only a short look at gameplay, definitely left a lot to be desired for me. Looks incredibly mid so far

Prototype would be cool. But I’d like a new Spyro game as well as some of those old Transformers games, which I’ve never tried.
