Re: 'Retro Classics' Raises Questions About The Future Of Xbox Backwards Compatibility

demian

@Titntin my guesstimate is that it's much easier to have Xbox series x games playable on windows 11, than games from Xbox og on Xbox series x, just because Xbox os is heavily modified version of Windows 11 24H2

I doubt Microsoft would even think about changing Xbox os if it would affect backward compatibility after all this time and with Cloud streaming still in beta

Re: New Sales Data Highlights How Xbox Is 'Dominating' PS5 Right Now

demian

@FuzzieGinge88 it's irellevant how many ps5 consoles have been sold, as everyone e selling games have the same amount of prospective buyers! Consoles, but Xbox is the one domi ating
This is not a ranking including mtople consoles, it's ps5 only and ms is dominating printing money, which in turn helps Xbox owners by investing more in games, keeping gamepass cost low, etc etc

Re: This Gorgeous Xbox Mouse & Keyboard Set Launches Next Month

@Kienda @kihaennem it should work just fine wired on an xbox like any usb keyboard.
and more importantly it uses the same wireless dongle as the arcade stick that works fine on xbox. I fail to see why this won't work as well, they might want to announce this as an new feature down the line.

@PsBoxSwitchOwner yeah but you can always buy from a 3rd party and upgrade with $1 to ultimate, so in practice its much less than that. I like Microsoft a lot but that's what I'm doing

with GP you would also be able to try hundreds more games, that you couldn't possibly buy on Ps.

imho it's exactly like streaming services, I prefer paying for Max and prime and get dozens of content rather than buying individual series
