Re: Expedition 33 Dev On Turn-Based JRPGs: They Became 'Uncool' In Xbox 360 Era, Still Haven't Fully Recovered

@BAMozzy I have no problem with QTEs, I play live service games like Fallout 76(one of the most addicting games I have played in a while) point and click games I also enjoy like armikrog, syberia, sam and max, jump start back in the day, and escape from monkey island. Racing simulators are the only one on your list I no longer play. I can't touch another forza or gran turismo ever again unless its arcade like Forza Horizon. Lastly, I dont really touch fighting games pretty much anymore unless its mortal kombat or injustice or killer instinct(because of amazing netcode) because of its value and releasing all its DLC. SF, tekken, Guilty, and most other japanese fighters are so freaking greedy in its DLC practicese you will end up paying almost $500 in content at the end of its lifecycle and that is if you invest in the games for a long period of time. Even if I did that with MK or injustice I would save SOO much more money, plus I enjoy western fighters more than japanese. Last 2 questions I promise lol Are their any japanese games that you like that ARENT turned based and what about final fantasy you dont like even if the games arent turned based like FF15 and FF16 and technically FF12?

ok. thanks for the clarification. My immediate question afterwards was do you specifically hate turn based rpgs or any time of turn based game. One last question, their are games out there that muddy the waters that have some level of turn based combat mixed in with real time action based on cooldowns like MMOs like World of warcraft or JRPGs like Final fantasy12. Are these exceptions to the rule or you still outright reject them? And also, what did you think of Jrpgs that have real time action like ff15 and ff16? Thanks! Personally I like both western and jrpgs but prefer western. Original fallouts, elder scrolls, baldurs gate, divinity, witcher etc I love from the west. From the east, expedition 33, lost odyssey, chrono trigger, ff6, Persona 4 golden, Shin Megami Tensei 4, @BAMozzy

Re: Talking Point: Will DOOM: The Dark Ages Become id's Best Modern DOOM Game?

Doom 2016 was great, but eternal was a bonafied masterpiece. Best campaign, best platforming, weapon swat was GODLIKE, difficulty was finely tune, last year-we got mod support, horde mode, amazing challenges, secrets well placed. Doom eternal is my #1 doom game of all time including the originals. However, I believe doom the dark ages wont surpass it due to the fluidity in combat that eternal gave us and its platforming via the hookshot. It will be #2 no doubt. Day one play on game pass

Re: Talking Point: How Satisfied Are You With PC Game Pass Right Now?

dathip

Its ok. Here are some improvements
1) EA games should have xbox achievements on PC. I have NO idea why I can get achievements for games like ME legendary edition but NOT the PC version
2) Achievement delays need to be fixed. Sometimes I end up getting achievements like 2 minutes later
3) OPTIONAL- make PC versions of all gamepass games have achievements so we can double dip(That would be nice)
4) If we check out a game in the xbox app and we go back to the all pc section, stop having us start from the top of the page so we dont have to keep on scrolling through.
