Update []: It's since been confirmed that Hellblade 2 will remain at 30FPS on Xbox Series S when the Enhanced edition launches this August, meaning the 60FPS upgrade is only for Xbox Series X and PS5 (along with those who can play it at 60FPS on PC).

Original Story: We found out a month ago that Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 would getting an "Enhanced" edition on Xbox at the same time as the PS5 launch of the game, and we now know the release date is August 12th, 2025.

The feature list for Hellblade 2 Enhanced has also been confirmed today, which includes a 60FPS performance mode (presumably on both Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S?), a "Very High" graphical preset on PC, an optional new game mode focused around The Dark Rot, an enhanced photo mode and developer commentary.

Here's a look at those improvements in a graphic:

Hellblade 2 To Receive Free 60FPS Xbox Upgrade Alongside PS5 Release This August 2

Hellblade 2: Enhanced is a totally free upgrade for anyone who either owns the game or plays it on Xbox Game Pass already, so you'll be able to check it out at the same time as the $49.99 PS5 release later this summer.

We'll share more details about the performance mode specifically down below, and there's more information on each individual feature over at Xbox Wire. Put the date in your diary for August - this sounds like a nice upgrade!
