For me it was the best game of 2024, I finished it 3 times, on Lg oled and headphone, full dark room, like a real horror movie/serial. AN INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE.
I finished the game on hard level and I was happy to die.
For who says it's not a game, or it's too short , you are free to play a GaaS/MMO or sport game there you can spend all millions of hours you want.
TODAY GAME BUSINESS NEED QUALITY AND SHORTER GAMES.
Do we need only games over 40 hours? Why 8, 10 hours is bad for that price?
nobody ever complained for games like The Dark Pictures Anthology or until dawn, what if the problem is just people expectation?

Hell yeah, preordered the limited edition with steelbook. I won't miss this one!
The 3th one was an open world and it was really boring, with this one we comeback to the origins like 1st and 2nd!

That's just a netflix copy, I use something similar in Kodi.
I would prefer the same concept seen in kodi, you have different View/styles and you can use the one you prefer, sometimes i have mood for something like this and other times a totally different style, i prefer to have options and decide according to mood

I was waiting to play it offline, hate those live services and multiplayer

@Kaloudz just for into, the streaming card I was talking before it can be used also from xbox to laptop, you can use an old laptop as monitor, I had issues with sound (from xbox to laptop, laptop won't reproduce xbox sound) so i use the xbox headphone. Maybe the card I bought was really cheap, if interest you, i send you more info

@Kaloudz i have the meta quest 3 there are few ways: when i connect it by cable to the pc there is vr mod for all unreal games to became 3d or full vr, i prefer to use the normal joypad;
Using the xbox app you can stream the games and in game pass there are few that support the vr mode but i ve never try it, all the others it s like to watch a projection of the game.
I found out for 15 dollars you can buy a streaming card that help to connect the xbox to the vr so i use it like monitor when tv or projector are busy

I bought Lost in Random: The Eternal Die and played with few days advance, nice game, woth trying. Really similar to hades

I own it on steam, even if I wanted to support them on xbox, I won't buy an old game full price, they are nuts!

People don't understand this consoles can emulate anything even switch 1, it plays any pc game; don't be surprise in few years will emulate even the switch 2. How can people compare the switch 2 that's closer to a tablet with pc handled

Come on! In 2026 Gears E day, new Forza, Fable and probably the reboot of Halo, I understand you want everything immediately but they have so many other show cases planned and next years is the 25 years of xbox! Phil Spencer already said again in the podcast those games are coming next year

I have a PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. I didn’t care to buy it before, and I still don’t — not because of the game, but because the studio lied; It was a timed exclusive the whole time, exactly 1 year.
When it was Baldur’s Gate 3, the team informed Microsoft about the issue and got the support they needed to fix it. This team did nothing… I don’t support @ssh0l3s like that!
I won’t buy it until I find it for $5 or get it free on Epic Games!
Don’t forget: in July, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is coming day one to Game Pass — and the backlog keeps growing...
ps: you can say anything about MS: for Baldur’s Gate 3 they took the blame while for this game they said immediately and more times "We can’t comment on the deals made by our partners with other platform holders"

@Sol4ris I agree with you, I have a PS+ subscription paid upfront till next year and I don`t use it from almost a year, I have game pass paid for other 2 years and 8 months and I own 1000 games on Xbox ecosystem
I think they confuse "healthier" with anti-consumer

just remind me who paid the FTC to waste so much time to avoid a corporate to go full multiplatform? did somebody at the FTC got fired? is there any idea how much money they waste for this fight?

@themightyant I said the number of games on xbox pc is about 20% of xbox console, i didn't talk about game pass. Example i wanted to buy khazan for pc, i did it on steam cause xbox has it only on console, it s like this for a lots of important games and almost all retro compatible games are not there. Example i own 1000 games on console and only 300 of those are pc. Generally the situation of xbox on pc is horrible.

@themightyant the rog is not an xbox portable, it s a low spec pc, it can play some pc games and not in the best way. People stragle to understand that xbox pc has barely 20% of the games xbox has on console.
Whatever happen I hope a day they release an xbox os for desktop, handled, i would even put it on tablet.
I would prefer to use a pc as a console, instead to buy redundant hardware.
I m not fan of windows when it come to play videogames.

My series x is emulating almost everything better than original console, just waiting for ps3. Gamecube has a lots of nice games and they run really well on series x

People complain about a trilogy rumor never confirmed as it was Microsoft issue... I prefer to think this is a first step to something more important... Gears E Day! Maybe this year?

Khazan, Ninja Gaiden 2 Black, Indiana Jones; starting Avowed and South of Midnight

I can't earn xbox rewards from 2 weeks now and time to time randomly it start to work before it stops again.
Everytime I redeme a reward it doesn't give me points for at least 1 week.

The First Berserker: Khazan, after 1 or 2 weeks, I m just at half of the game with a level 90; started with demo and continue with early access, strongly addicted, not perfect but bloody good.

I m loving it, good gameplay and it s not the kind of game wasting time in ultra long cut seens; it s the game I needed for this week, I took it with early access after a week spent on the demo, I feel addicted.

Series S is the key for the future portable console, he pratically confirm it! That s an outstanding advantage vs a possible sony portable console

I have 3 external hard drives 10tb + 5tb+ 3tb (this is used for emulation and dev mode), 4 expansion cards 2x1tb and 2x2tb , 2 series x consoles and 2nd console has another 5tb hard drive and still i m running low in space
I love the fact that the expansion cards are hot swappable and the console handle over 20 tb of space but it was cheaper if the series x game would run on the external hard drive

We talk about next gen when previous is more used than current gen
If they release next gen they will support 3 generations? I don't mind it, I m looking forward for portable, but maybe i will take first the new nintendo

Many people underestimate the point microsoft window is placed at risk from linux bases os and steam os: on desktop computer if they start to play games better than windows many gamers would move; while about the Handhelds if microsoft doesn't create a version of windows/xbox worth, all other handled will use steam os

@x3King84 thanks to respond to my message, I rispect anybody opinion, tell me more about yours, why do you feel they leave the console behind? (honestly trying to understand, not sarcastic) cause Sony users might play some games? I felt the message from xbox was clear all the time on this direction and maybe many people are bandaging theirs foot before getting hurt, is it the same thing they said for all 2024? every week somebody says Starfield is going to PS5, over 1 year and still nothing, when they stop saying that, they move to Forza horizon 5, but who wants old games for full price? Internet is full of click bait articles saying same things every month with different words.
Look, in my opinion Series X is the best console of my whole life and i m super happy, I m disappointed to see Sony doing everything to avoid the games to go there but we don`t know what future will be and MS has few of most selling and played games, they have the power to made new consoles even if they are not the leaders of the console market: for me the most important is they will keep to exist and go forward, how they do it , I don`t care, see netflix and blockbuster , 1 day you are at the top, 1 day you don`t exist anymore. wish you a nice day and thanks again for message.

@x3King84 they didn`t leave behind anybody, the Series X is amazing and full of games, I own a xbox 360 and there were not so many games in that time; I own both pc and ps5, and this generation of Sony games have a PC version, the PS5 for ME it`s just for the PS4 games but now the PS4 emulator (shadps4) is able to play bloodborne I will try that.
my PS5 is taking dust even if i have the PS plus subscription for 1 year more.
the Game pass on xbox console has much more games than PC game pass, the console has more and more games and many sony exclusive 3th parties are on Xbox, I own over 700 gaems in about 1 year of Xbox series X, the only problem I have with Xbox are the reporters, fake news, all the hate from people who prefer a box or the other, so far there are ex Sony exclusive games on Xbox than opposite and many of the news in internet are just the same sentence from years ago with different words; i'm more curious of the next generation, the handled, the possibility of PC microsoft store and Xbox store merging, the number of Play everywhere increasing, the cloud own games growing.

They dropped few nice surprises but the most important they were just cut scenes, it s often a false advertisement show, you watch an amazing video and after all the game looks totally different.
Better show than previous years, i will remember it thanks to Harrison Ford and Snoop dogg, i feel insulted from astrobot winning, it s not better than many nintendo games released in over 20 years, and as jury is partially owned by sony, any sony wins for me it s not legit.
I agree astrobot is welldone game and sony knows how to do games, i don't agree with the metod of the game awards to judge, and i feel some conflict of interest in this show

In my opinion this is also the reason why sony is not earning enough , i explain you: 1st Sony doesn't sell more consoles than nintendo from a while now, their active gamers per month is almost the same in 10 years, their games cost many times more than 10 years ago, their games should be already everywhere even on mobile for how much they cost, but their fanbase will kill sony if they follow the same strategy of microsoft and all this cause to sony to "milk" their fan.
A multiplayer game like helldivers should be anywhere, or their dreams of GaS will keep dying in matter of time.
Sony keep saying they are earning more and more, but with expenses and inflation, is that enough?

@Lrapsody if you play forza via xbox and pc you use the same saving file and you can continue it also on cloud. I wouldn't start new on another console after over 50 hours already spent. i have all the consoles and often the same game on more consoles but the cross saving is rare thing and often motivate which game to play

I think this is the first experiment of game partially cloud and partially installed, not lucky experience for me, too long loadings, few crashes or start. When works i love it, but i prefered 400gb game with no crashes and fast loading than this.

For me that show is not worth my time and since i know it i watch it few days later in double speed and skipping forward all the waste of time: between a xbox show case and the game awards i prefer the 1st, in last years those xbox shows are pure fire with no time to waste and so many cool games! The awards are just business for few, it's a scam and that s the reason they keep changing rules..

@Markatron84 I was just hoping, but everywhere is listed as 1 player game; btw in the article was written that s a game to play with kids, so i just confirm i tried and there is no multiplayer. Nice game anyway, love the style.

Facts:
0) Game Science said they delay the xbox release due their issue to develop a proper version on x/s but in same time didn't ask any support to MS as other did in past.
1) the official statement from MS talks about an agreement between Sony and Game Science
2) nobody from Sony or Game Science have replied yet saying it's not true
3) sony ps5 is sold out in Cina
4) more sources asked to both Sony and Game Science directly and let's see what they say
5) Sony didn't advertise this game as exclusive, thing that every big tech would have done proudly.
6) MS says again there are no technical issue but some possible agreement between Sony and Game Science
7) internet is full of fake news in any direction and nothing should be taken seriously till is not confirmed

@themightyant it s just the beginning; i think you don't see the whole picture, they will get back the money from the acquisition in few years, ABK are making money, reaching a number of people that Xbox wouldn't have reached nor in youtube or any hard advertising campain.
For me, that i ve never care of any ABK game now i m addicted to call of duty and diablo... never cared before.
In this business they need big number of users but often is just necessary to conquer that 2% that spend like crazy.
Only future will say if their strategy is good or not, but when you are the team that's not winning, you better risk and change the conditions of the game, I appreciate what they did and I see it a cleaver move in long term

@PsBoxSwitchOwner look, the Ea play subscription is more expensive this year, if microsoft wants to keep giving that subscription has to pay more, just this explain the prise increase of any tier where the ea play is present.
Than let s be honest and let s leave the fake polemics to pthers, microsoft informed the highest number of subscribers has game pass ultimate and than the basic (gold/core).
I don't have to be a genius to understand that if i don't sell something is better to try some changes or better offer, remebet the people who has the console subscription will keep it in the same way till expiration.

Love it, my type of game, the best game experience in years! I prefer short games, i finished it 2 times even hard level, worth it, i enjoyed to discover new ways of how they could kill me

Pretty happy so far, i finished about 40 games this years and i enjoyed all of them, Senua 2 for me was an amazing experience. The combination of game pass pc and meta quest 3 using UEVR mod gave to my games another dimension.

Well i saw the video in youtube from Digital Foundry and they say simply that ps5 use better the shaders while xbox use better everything else. The video was used and manipulate to do ps5 propaganda.
Still make me angry thinking about ea wrc for ps5, it was so terrible experience for screen tearing; i cannot say if the fix it today cause i unplugged my ps5 and gave up to start the game, even the logo from EA shows tearing and try to guess, problem solved on xbox or pc from long time

@Deljo maybe few old games but ps plus rarely release something that s not 1 or 2 years old, i have both subscriptions and my impression is sony provide an over all good subscription but often are games that i already own and i already finished on xbox; in game pass are also day 1 from 3th party like lies of P, persona series, like dragon, that are expensive games on day one for who like it, than it s all of preferences

I loved the game i finished it 2 times with totat time of 15 hours, i consider to play it 3th time (every run with different narrator) in future, best psychological horror ever tried, when the prise will go down it will sell a lots, important is in game pass and people can play it for free, specially cause is not a game for everyone, i won't be surprised in future they will release it on ps5, to cash from Sony

For me the best has to come, but I passed from Ps5 to xbox series x, for so many reasons: the value of game pass with so many new games; the super offers i found buying the keys of the games: in 4 years between ps4 and ps5 i bought 120 games, in 1 year with xbox i have over 530.
The price of the games for me is the surprising component, cause in europe everybody buy Sony, the resellers give 75% to 85% discount to so many new games .
Than the series x is so amazing, i have the developer mode and i can play so many emulators, it plays the ps1 and ps2 better than the original consoles (that i still have);
The fact i can leave a game anytime and i can continue it from the same point, days later without even saving.
1 of the biggest thing i love from the console is the amount of hard disks i can connect simultaneously and the incredible speed anytime i want to access to my data, with 530 games is so fast to keep moving them between all the hard disks and memory cards.
I HAVE NEVER PLAYED SO MUCH ON 1 CONSOLE BEFORE and the fact that 200 of the games i bought for consoles has PLAY ANYWHERE i play even more on my pc.
Now cause my house has more floors i even bought my 2 xbox series x.
The rewards gave me 3 months of gave pass ultimate for free, cant complain.
