Personally I love Starfield for what it is, and always find myself wanting to go back to it and find something new. I love being a gamer, but I hate how painfully toxic the gaming community has become, and I think that Bethesda has every right to clap back at the basement dwelling dredge of gaming society that has nothing better to do than create a 2 hour or more video on youtube dissecting every tiny thing they hate about a game, instead of saying they just don't like it, and just move on to the vast library of games that they could be spending time playing.
I have never played WOW, so I would like to see that on console...also this has nothing to do with anything but I want a remastered Lego Lord of the Rings.
Still love it. Close to 100 hours. On my first NG+ and still loving the exploration and constantly finding new things. The atmosphere of this game is fantastic. It's not Skyrim fantastic, but thats comparing apples and oranges. Anyways, excellent game.
I know I'm the only one but I can't justify the cost for a 20 hour campaign...I'll wait until its inevitable sale. I am one of the few that loved Valhalla, its length and gameplay, so going from over 100 hours of gameplay on Valhalla, Odyssey, and Origins, this just seems like a step back (even though Mirage brings back some much needed mechanics from the originals).
I am a 38 year full time job working father with 3 kids, and I cannot begin to tell you how much I have enjoyed this incredible game. It is what I have wanted out of an RPG since Witcher 3 and RDR2 came out. I literally spent an hour just bouncing around on the moon. The game is so incredibly immersive (like Fallout 4 and Skyrim) but it is so much more finely tuned. I was incredibly hyped for this game, but I am so happy that so far it exceeded my expectations.
If you are even remotely a fan of HP, this is an excellent game. As a big HP fan, this game was GOTY for me. Are there room for improvements? Absolutely. But given the success of this game, I am sure they will take feedback and make necessary improvements on the next installment. Hopefully we will see some DLC's.
If you are into Nordic fantasy folklore, Bramble: The Mountain King is incredible. Its a super short game, like 5 hours or so, but it is excellent. Whimsical, yet super dark thematically.
A Plague Tale: Requiem at the time of my playing it was 30 FPS and it is my personal GOTY. I have many concerns about Starfield, but framerate is not one of them.
Just bought the original Alan Wake for like 4.99 and have seriously enjoyed playing it. Then started Quantum Break and Control for the first time. Control has become one of my all time favorites. Remedy is incredibly original with their games. Cannot wait to play Alan Wake 2
I am currently playing Diablo 4, Control Ultimate Edition, and Cyberpunk. I just finished a Plague Tale Requiem, and Bramble: The Mountain King, and Planet of Lana. I am randomly playing through a ton of Gamepass games, and I can't wait for Starfield, Alan Wake 2, Avowed, Hellblade 2, Jusant, and Fable. Two massive games, Starfield and Forza are coming out this year (and AC Mirage finally!). I cannot fathom how anyone can complain about the state of games right now. I thought the showcase was awesome, and am extremely excited about what is ahead for Xbox.
@GamingFan4Lyf don't tell people to grow up. People are allowed to have opinions. This isn't IGN. This game genuinely does not look good to me. It looks bland, boring, and very repetitive. Yes, people wanted more substance than just another side scroller. I have no problem with Ubisoft. I like most of their stuff, just not this.
The state of LOTR games right now is embarrassing. The trilogy games of the PS2 era, Shadow of Mordor, and Lego Lord of the Rings, were all absolutely fantastic....what happened?!
Lol! I just finished this game last week. Guess Ill have to play again with the 60FPS. I have Gamepass, but bought the physical discs for both games. They are absolutely amazing games! I think I took like 200 screenshots of Requiem lol.
@HarmanSmith Just saw that the original is on sale for like $4 but the remastered is still $29. Should I wait to get the remaster or just go for the original? Thanks for the info!
I finished it and to me, it is absolutely the best looking game i've played on Series X, but it was a chore to get through. They should have dropped 70% of the puzzles, and dropped the "crispy critters" catchphrase. The ending seemed abrupt. I enjoyed the game enough to finish it, but I don't have any desire to play the DLC.
It looks fun and different, with a great art style. Between Ravenlok and Planet of Lana, I am pleased with this months Gamepass selection. Redfall is not the worst game I have played, but it is definitely mediocre.
Why is The Last Case of Benedict Fox not even showing up at all on Gamepass or even in the store? Even with time zone differences, shouldn't you at least be able to see it somewhere?

@themightyant Correct. It's all politics

9/10- This game is like old lady cross stitching for me. Super relaxing. And I feel like Bilbo Baggins going on a grand adventure...but in space.

Nope. I have to agree. Thought it looked terrible. And the music choice was horrendous.
