Tonight at The Game Awards 2023, a remake of Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons has been revealed! We heard rumours of this one leading up to the show, but it's now all official - and the remake is coming to Xbox Series X|S on February 28th.

If you missed the 2013 original, Brothers is a short and sweet adventure where a single player takes control of two sons on an emotional journey. The game's lead Joseph Fares went on to create A Way Out and It Takes Two after this game, so this is a great opportunity to go back and experience Fares' debut outing.

Here's an official introduction to the upcoming remake:

"Hailed by critics when it was originally released, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons is back! Faithful to the gameplay and touching story from 2013, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake features rebuilt characters and landscapes based on the original and has been updated to the latest generation of graphics, performance, and gameplay. Paired with a re-recorded soundtrack with a live orchestra, prepare for an emotional experience that will take your adventure to all new heights."
