Well, I see I am not missing out on anything since cancelling my sub.

I wanted to love KCD 2, as it has everything I love....medieval setting, rpg elements,...but man I absolutely detest the combat system. It still feels so clunky and cumbersome (cue the git gud comments).

Lol. I "dropped out" 5 times because the game kept crashing on me. Kept uninstalling and reinstalling until I could finish the game.

@G1lbo No. Insanely difficult and massively frustrating would be considered "Souls Like". Rogue Lite means you will die, but every time you come back, you come back stronger based on power options you choose.

Nah, not a Souls like fan.

And this is why more developers need to release demos for their games. Let people decide for themselves if they like the game, rather than what social media tells them what to like and what not to like.

Bramble: The Mountain King for $4.50 is a steal for an awesome game. And if you haven't played A Plague Tale: Requiem, Hogwarts Legacy, Bulletstorm, Dead Space, Hellblade 1 and 2, or the Outer Wilds, I recommend those.

$55 for a wrap is wild. lol

I have never played Oblivion, so I am excited to see what's in store.

@Brigurugi I don't know about successful, but I love it. Take it for what it is, which is a really fun hack and slash. If you are looking for a true rpg experience, find something else.

The thing is, eventually I will buy GTA 6, because I know that inevitably the price will go down, and I have patience. Nintendo games almost never go down in price. Aside from the standard Mario and Donkey Kong games, nothing stood out to me with the Switch 2, and certainly nothing worth the $80 price tag.

Well.....I'm enjoying it.

A Plague Tale: Requiem, Dragons Dogma 2, Baldur's Gate 3, Starfield, Alan Wake 2

I guess I am the only one who can't justify $70 for a 6 hour campaign. This will certainly be fine for multiplayer gamers, but alas I am not one of those.

Still Wakes the Deep, and finishing up Hellblade 2

It's between AC Odyssey-The Fate of Atlantis and AC Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok

Hellblade 2 is unbelievably amazing....but you have to go into it understanding that is purely a cinematic storytelling game. It is game that I play like an hour a night because its just so much to take in. It certainly is not for everybody, but for an older gamer like me, it's perfect.

Hellblade 2- If you loved the first one, you will love the second one. It's not for everyone. I love story based games like A Plague Tale, Alan Wake, Bramble, Brothers, etc. and so Hellblade 2 is right up my alley. But love it or hate it, you absolutely cannot deny Hellblade 2 is one of the best looking games ever made.

If its another 8-15 hour campaign like Mirage, I'll wait for the $20 sale, but this looks great.

I can't join the rage and drama bandwagon because I have a massive backlog of games to play on my Series X....When Xbox runs out of games for me to play, I'll just move on to another console.

I am greatly looking forward to this.....but I hate that this is digital only. Same with Alan Wake 2.

@CaptainCluck It's not terrible in the slightest. That Kong game and Gollum game were terrible.

@Dimey Starfield was and is a finished product. There is a beginning of the game, and end of game, plus a continual New Game+. Not only that, its a free game on Gamepass. The rest of the stuff they are doing is all freebies. Calm down

Glad I cancelled for a few months. Going to subscribe again when Hellblade 2 releases though.

I absolutely detest "souls-like" games, but I loved the Ori games, so I'll give it a shot.

As others have said, if Im paying $70 for a game, you better have more than 15 hours of content, and lots of replayability. $30 is acceptable for a 15-20 hour game.

I played through A Plague Tale: Requiem at 30 FPS and it is one of my GOTY. I don't forsee 30FPS being an issue with HB2. I think the bottom line is that if you enjoyed the first Hellblade, then you are going to enjoy the second one. Cinematic experiences are not everyone's cup of tea, but it is mine, and I am greatly looking forward to it.

I subscribe to Gamepass, and as a result I have purchased several physical copies of games that I would not have bought outright without getting to try it first. BG3 is the first game I bought without getting a chance to play it first. I was extremely hesitant as I hate turn based games, but thankfully it has blown my mind.

Lol....they need to get this sorted before GTA 6
