Having joined the Xbox gang last September I was incredibly surprised by how generous the programme is. That said, if they carry on going like this they'll render the programme useless and that would be disappointing to say the least. We'll see I guess, it's reasonable to restructure and reduce some rewards, but I feel it would be very clumsy business to give that much and suddenly cut it down so much.

I did enjoy mad Max a lot back in the day. I would recommend it, amazing price for a fun game.

In the middle of playing Chained Echoes and finding it excellent, gotta focus on it. Wanted to try eastward, but I think it's just gonna go into the wishlist. Oh well...to little time for all the games I'd like to play.

Everybody has a valid opinion, but old school design isn't always a bad thing, at least for me. I really like that some games seem to be going for a more "focused" approach now. Kinda seeing some of that in Chained Echoes at the moment and makes for great rythm on the main story.

Dungeons of Hunterberg's got my attention. Feels reasonably fresh, so kinda looking forward to that.

Mainly focused on Chained Echoes and quite enjoying it so far. Might give Lego Skywalker saga a bit more time too. Finally, AoE II campaigns have been calling me, so might do a couple of missions there too.

This is excellent news, I did enjoy the first one on the Xbox, didn't like the whole process and difficulty spike around the true ending, but good game. Looking forward to OT2.

I can't find time to play everything I want to with work and children and so on. So, I came to terms with the fact that I'll never play all the games I'm interested on and just focus on enjoying those I can play rather than stressing out about all the ones I won't play at all.

Playing the space game, what's it called again?....Lego Skywalker saga, that's the one. Find it quite relaxing after a day of work. Close to completing Kirby and the forgotten land too.

I have to agree with some comments, these numbers are great, each person has an opinion and kinda think it's probably a great game for me, so quite looking forward to play it.

I think there's a lot of hate out there for Xbox, the mega hype too and so on probably didn't help and in a different context those numbers probably would've been a bit higher (for those that care a lot about that) That said, it doesn't really matter to me; most reviews seem to say it's a very worthwhile xp, so it's on my to play list now.

Oh man! Dark Forces, spent so much time back in the day on that one. The comment about the maps is fair; although in perspective now, I kinda liked that it wasn't obvious many times how to progress. Remember getting stuck a couple of times. now, only that now there will be walkthroughs everywhere for that. Still, fair point.

I've parked everything and giving a try to immortality. Finding it quite captivating so far.

A short hike is a good little chill game, recommend if you're up for something like that. For me, nothing this week gonna be away on holiday, but once back will be back on everspace and death's door on Xbox, then Kirby and the forgotten land on switch.

It's decent, not great, but still worth a try if you enjoy the genre.l, just don't expect inside quality level

I kinda wanted to give Edge of Eternity a try, but always had other things to prioritise. Has anybody given it a try? Any thoughts?

I played both a short hike and Celeste on switch, recommend you guys giving it a try, they're both quite good.

Kinda want to try everspace 2, playing 1 and mixed feelings, but worth a try.

Did play the base game a few years ago, well worth it and loved playing with some of the movie heroes of my 80s 90s childhood. Recommend if you haven't tried it and like the genre.

It's all right l, I really never had a problem with the previous nor I thought it was particularly bad. I guess I was kinda used to it and could get where I needed to fast so wasn't bad, same on this one. Just wanna play my games really

Same as others, just enjoying the games. Not so bothered about "noticeable changes". I think the upgrades on loading and some performance an visuals is more than enough for me to justify my series X. I just see it has having done some upgrades to my pc when got some money laying around.

I think it works pretty nicely, I haven't had the need to use it much, but occasionally when travelling or having visits at home and I think it's pretty handy. Hope it keeps on developing as a "side feature" in the ecosystem.

I did play the beta and was good fun, would be good to understand how the plan to support with more content cause my only worry after that weekend of playing it was "this will get old pretty quickly"

They've been pumping out the same narrative for a while now, with the exact more or less same words. Might not be what they're aiming for in this particular case, but Xbox is not selling itself as a console only option anymore. It's about the wider ecosystem, which I think is quite true. So to me the argument they're trying to play is "this isn't about console wars anymore, we're not in it to destroy other consoles, we just do gaming in the wider sense. So not necessarily targeting Sony or Nintendo here".

Wether that hurts competition or not in a bigger sense is a different debate, but I do believe Xbox is diverging from Sony's offering more and more

This isn't good, it is what it is. Now, for me the service is worth that money and if Microsoft finally get it together and do a good job with first party launches then I think it'll still be worth for many many different types of gamer.

That said price raises are never good for us, less so in the current climate, but it was gonna happen sonner rather than later.

Yeah, my view is that road 96 is all right and short. Worth a try if you're into that genre, but I personally didn't find it that good. Still decent fun, go and try it.

Just had a good look at everything and solid showcase. Many cool concepts there, let's hope they translate into good and fun games. This is the event that got me the most interested by a decent margin. Pretty happy I decided to add an Xbox to my hardware lineup this gen, let's see how it goes.

I really enjoyed The Ascent, would recommend giving a try if you like that type of game.

On the PS4 I always had a problem with this, but not on the series X, so quite happy as is ATM.

Good suggestions here, wouldn't mind playing Space Marine on the Xbox.

My plan is to look at some sort of summary article and/or video after it. Never really watch these kinda things live, then I can focus on what really interests me.

Playing Persona 4 Golden and Far Cry 5. The latter was a suggestion from a couple of the good guys here on the site and I find myself enjoying it quite a lot actually. First in the series for me.

Might have a go at Kirby on the Switch too or perhaps an occasional go at Forza Horizon 5

A real shame, I think the base concept of a Gollum game could have led to something interesting, but clearly they didn't execute well at all. I guess they'll stop talking of redfall now at least.

@themightyant Thanks! I bought Far cry 3 too yesterday, cause it was a good price for a game that many people seem to love, so at some point I'll give it a go too.

I can understand the Ubisoft style burnout, I had more or less the same after years of playing AC. I got tired after completing AC Unity. Since the, I haven't really played one of these despite having a couple more in PS plus and GP now, so it's been a while. Hopefully, will enjoy this one now.

@S1ayeR74 I know that, the comment wasn't meant to be taken literally, my fault as it's possibly quite out of context and vague. My point is that I find this message just projects an image of self-doubt and I find the overall tone childish and is ultimately unnecessary. They'll, of course, have their reasons, but it doesn't change my opinion on it.

Don't know who is right or not here, but I'm wondering why these guys felt the urge to go out there and, essentially, say " yeah, don't care what these guys say, I was right, just so you know world"

I just find it quite pathetic how the UK always seems to take any chance to throw something at the EU to try and make it like we're best. You'd think after Brexit we'd focus a bit more on ourselves, but it turns out we still do it anyway. Guess we have to keep feeding our delusions of being the "British Empire" rather than try to get a grip on ruling our own country properly. Just generally, not just making this about this CMA malarkey

I wouldn't mind if it were true. Moved to Xbox as main about 6 months ago and been playing some of the old ones. Played gears 1 recently, so I'm actually giving a bit of time before going for 2, to see if this is true.

First one was good fun, liked the atmosphere, repeated some missions coop, was surprised to see some people playing still.

I almost feel sorry for the Starfield Dev team. The redfall situation puts them under even more scrutiny and pressure I think. Hope this one is on high levels and shows the way for the rest, otherwise the loss of confidence from the community is gonna be pretty significant.

Haven't played any, but they're free so always claim them. I might have a go at praetorians at some point, nostalgia being the main factor here.
