@all3forever 260 times? Ican't tell if you're exaggerating... I didn't even get them all once as I got so frustrated floating around. The first time I thought 'this is quite cool'. After about 10 goes I thought never again. I really enjoyed my 90hrs with the game, but this became an unnecessary chore (the whole process of finding the powers, to be honest)
@Reptilio I've just let my membership expire. I've played lots of Starfield over the past month, but I bought it and that and Mario Wonder will keep me occupied for the next month or so. Them I'll start my subscription back!
I've played about 65 hours so far. I'm really enjoying it. I will admit I'm finding myself focussing a little more on the main story now, partly to make sure I don't get bored and partly because of other games I also want to play.
@Moonglow I agree that the choice to do what you want is what's good. I never like building and customisation tools. 40-odd hours in and I've not even looked at ship or outpost building (and I've also stuck with guns I've found or been given).
It might mean I miss out on some things but I get to play the game in a way I enjoy.
I think it's great everyone can play to their own style.
Starfield. I've played for 42 hours so far, and barely touched the main story. I keep wanting to just progress with that for a few hours and get sidetracked. I haven't even explored all that much. I've been doing other missions. I think I've just finished the main UC story (not totally sure) so now might be a chance to do some of the main story. 😀
@Darylb88 I've played for a "mere" 1 day 8 hours or so. I've never played massive RPGs like this, but had a week off work last week and really enjoying it.
I thought it very odd when it switched from hours to days! 😀
Beacon Pines is a wonderful interactive novel game. It only takes a handful of hours to play through. Well worth looking at before it goes. If you go in knowing nothing about it then I guarantee it goes places you won't expect it to.
Forza and Jusant both interest me but my current Game Pass subscription ends in October and I'm very tempted to have a couple of months off. I bought Starfield and really want Mario Wonder, and those will leave little to no time for other games.
Still need to decide what to do, which is no bad thing. 😬
Niche comment but has anyone else with the Constellation Edition figured out/remembered how to get the watch back in the case. I excitedly pulled it out and didn't really look how it was in there, and I'm struggling to get it back.
I've played for about 2 hours (and going away for a week tomorrow so that's all I'll get it for a bit). I'm not used to these sorts of games so finding the learning curve a bit steep, and struggling to know what to do a bit. But I'm optimistic that it'll click and I'll really like it.
What a coincidence @FraserG I've never played The Walking Dead before and have been working my way through it recently. I have one final chapter to go and then will be ready for Starfield (after a week away means I don't get the early access I've paid for with my Constellation Edition).
As someone who has ordered the Constellation Edition, this description of the watch on the Starfield website is very interesting...
The Starfield Chronomark watch only supports English, while the ‘Starfield Watch’ companion app supports English, French, Italian, German and Spanish. Weather features will not be supported at launch. Phone connectivity limited. The Starfield Chronomark watch does not transmit phone calls, does not support cellular service and is not a touch screen device.
I played (and loved) Telling Lies, but for whatever reason just couldn't get into Immortality. I'm unlikely to have time to try it again with so many new games on the horizon.
Tinykins, however, I did finish. I thought that was brilliant.
Does anyone know how early access works with pre-installing, considering I won't get the code with my Constellation Edition until I get my delivery? Can I download the 125gb game via Game Pass and then enter the code for instant access when I get it?
@Nightcrawler71 Mine still hasn't updated. I've gone into the settings to see if there's an update that hasn't auto-installed but nope, just seemingly not available to me on my Series X yet.
I've ordered the Constellation Edition. I was enticed by the watch and box. Possibly not worth it, but I never get special editions of games and thought I'd treat myself this once.
But I go away on the 2nd for a week, so likely won't even be able to take advantage at all of the early access. Ah well.
@Fiendish-Beaver Shame I can't post a gif/meme reply, or I'd have to post Homer Simpson's "Let's just say I'm sitting in the right chair". Just ignore me if that means nothing to you... 😀
I've been playing a little of Figment 2 today. I'm enjoying it a lot. I just wish one of the main voices was less annoying, but it's lots of fun so far.
I played an hour or two of NFS and it just didn't click with me. I might go back to it, as I really like the graphical style, but it didn't win me over.
Same with Bookwalker. I thought the controls were just terrible, so I gave up after one book.
I finished Dordogne. Light in gameplay but absolutely worth playing for the art. It looks beautiful.
And I finished Bramble today. I thought it was excellent. VERY dark at times, but a lot of fun for a few hours. Recommended.
Unfortunately I'm working until probably around the time it finishes. But I'll likely watch it as soon as I'm home (if it's available) so I can watch as if it was live and having not read anything yet.

Re: Xbox Confirms Game Captures Will Be Deleted Beginning January 2024
I wish I could go on the Xbox app on my laptop and download images, rather than on the app on my phone. But it doesn't seem like that's possible.

Re: Microsoft Announces Price Increases For Xbox Series X And Xbox Game Pass
I just bought 4 x 3 month Ultimate codes and am wondering if it's worth buying more. I may just hope they do discounted codes for 6 or 12 months.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (June 17-18)
Dordogne. I think I'm nearly finished it. Gameplay-wise it's not the greatest, but it looks beautiful and absolutely worth checking out on Game Pass.
I've also started Immortality. Played a few hours and I'm not sure yet how I feel about it.

@AverageGamer Good point. I imagine if there's going to be an announcement we won't have long ti wait to see what it is.
Re: Hang On A Minute, Is Xbox ANZ Teasing Psychonauts 3?
After how long it took to make 2, I wonder if it's more likely to be a remaster of the first game. Or else something completely different...
