Psychonauts 2 isn't even two years old yet, and given how long the second game in the series took to develop, it'd be silly to think that a third one could be coming soon... right?!
Well, we thought so, but there's been a few interesting developments in recent days that could point towards more Psychonauts in the works. The latest such development is a somewhat cryptic tweet from Xbox ANZ, the team's Australia/New Zealand social media page.
Basically, the page has posted a 'noughts & crosses' game grid picture, with nine letters total. The purple letters within the image spell out 'psycho', while the remaining letters are simply three green crosses. So, we have three green crosses and six... psycho 'noughts'?
We must admit this is pretty cryptic and somewhat vague, but, it's pretty clear that folks are going to come to some sort of 'Psychonauts 3' conclusion here. That's not to mention that late last week, Psychonauts developer Double Fine hinted that more titles from the studio are coming to Xbox Game Pass.
