@cburg It's the people like you that have made gaming so bad with your apologist /fanboy esque attitude, if it wasn't for the "whiners" games like cyberpunk or no man's sky wouldn't have been fixed, people are entitled to complain about a product that they've spent money on.

Also if you're so concerned with other people then go to these places and try to make a difference instead of virtue signalling trying to act like we should all consume product and be quiet.

Series s has been a gamble that hasn't paid off and it's been to series x what consoles have been to pc a total burden that is not allowing games to reach their potential.

Whoever makes these decisions with the games needs to ask themselves why would anyone want an Xbox where you're forced to play 30fps when they can get a pc and choose their frame rate. 60fps should always be the target never 30fps it's not 2006.

Shows how out of touch game developers are, it's not xbox 360/PS3 era, 30fps is unacceptable and i hope they're prepared for the complaining from players like with starfield people don't care about 4k or ray tracing if it comes at the expense of frame rate.

Really not interested in the game at this point and i finished pillars of eternity 1 and some of 2, 30fps 2024 is a joke.

@dskatter I still enjoy Xbox, you can't beat the comfyness that is a console dashboard, no third party apps or launchers just everything there for you.

Useless to me since i don't have anyone to play locally with, last time i played a game locally with someone was probably the original smackdown vs raw, every wwe game is better locally than online that's for sure.

@dskatter On pc you don't have to pay for online, not at the mercy of game devs regarding game settings, can mod practically any game, games are cheaper and take less storage space on a pc, if you're gonna spend $748 on a switch and PS5 you might as well spend an extra 100 and get a pc.

@dskatter switch is weak though and practically obsolete, should be telling people to "snag" a pc.

Nope most of the content is locked through scummy scamwalls i mean we used to be able to get most of the stuff by playing but now they want 15-20 for a weapon skin.

Sbmm would just make the game unplayable for me, i recall in cold war i had to blow myself up 20+ times in a match to get into matches where I wasn't against wannabe shrouds using bumper jumper and xim to spoof input based matchmaking, also the netcode for modern warfare games is terrible I have no issues with black ops games. Call of duty should just be free to play for years because they've practically taken all the unlockables and are overcharging for them like a free to play game, haven't purchased since cold war and will continue to not purchase their trash until they stop ripping people off selling stuff we used to get for free.

Started on PS4 back when dark brotherhood came out so this was before the chapters were even a thing, used to be in a guild ran by a guy who's character was literally emperor palpatine in name and looks then i had to play the game on Xbox from scratch I have caught up in content to high isle at the moment.

Don't understand the hate Phil Spencer gets... It's like people don't know about the state Xbox was in after the one reveal, people just like to pretend game pass, backwards compatibility or impressive acquisitions like BGS and ABK didn't happen. His counterpart and Mattrick don't get as much hate despite one putting Xbox in a horrible position and the other pushing live service 🙄

Highly doubt he had any say in studio closures either, the guy plays games he's not some out of touch old bigwig only interested in profit.

@Kooky_Geezer 100% would love to see the old wwe games on backwards compatibility but at least they've done more to preserve games than their competitors.

It's a good update finally but a lot of the things should have been in the game at launch. Todd been too busy breaking Skyrim.

The game that won't let you progress until you pick up a random note on the ground despite knowing where to go, truly breathtaking. Highly overrated game.

@Doomcrow They sell consoles if you don't have a business mind, whenever i have purchased a console it's never been about the games it's always been about the price/affordability I know many people here and push square jist love to throw money around like it grows on trees , won't catch me paying full price for any game that's for sure.

The good battlefield Devs have long since resigned before 2042, next game will surely be another disgrace.

@DJKingaling The first one sony had a deal with enix to keep it off of pc for a year and off of Xbox indefinitely so people should just accept neither game will ever come to Xbox

Game just looked like ghostwire which also sucked, the only game where shooting magic out of your hands is good is Skyrim.

Still no callisto protocol you'd think for a game that was stomped on by the masses as hard as that game it'd be on game pass but nope

@Gollum Rockstar most certainly will try to sell a 60fps red dead 2 update because they are grifters.

Played it during free play days, game has the worst netcode i have ever seen, on eu servers everyone will be sitting at 60+ ping no matter how close you are to the server.

@DJKingaling it won't sell well on Xbox, most of the reviews for the other games i see are people saying "get this trash off of game pass"

I won't be buying it just because i played yakuza like a dragon in English and i wouldn't be doing that in this new one because i dislike yongyea, i think they should have stuck with the killbane sounding kiryu for English, plus i think hawaii is a corny/boring setting for what i assume will be majority of the game, i play yakuza games to explore japan not these other places.

@CaptainCluck my issue is the companions, all of them part of the same faction and they treat you like a child/hate everything you do. The best companions seem to be the one's you find like Sanon.

@Tecinthehead baldurs gate is the most normie game ever made though and it's full of disgusting fetish stuff like licking people's toes and animal/human intercourse.

If someone was to quiz the people playing baldurs gate 3 on games like pillars of eternity, xcom or divinity they'd say "what are they?"

@SlySnake0407 What cyberpunk is right now is what it should have been on release and we should actually have more content, I don't get how people are going crazy acting like it's a no man's sky level turn around when it really isn't.

A lot of stuff they can't fix i mean those companions are rancid with the exception of vasco, all of them hate everything you do, they pretty much have the same minds. Oh you want to bring a creature back from extinction? "Everyone disliked that", you should have picked the microbe option ensuring a peaceful creature is damned to be extinct forever. Join pirates? They all dislike it even the zealot who when you meet her she is murdering people...

The companions are insufferable bores and Bethesda can't fix that, they want to be mass effect so bad yet completely miss the mark and give you these husks who have clearly been tailor made for one dev just like the fallout 4 story was when they force you to play daddy/husband or mommy/wife. They had the chance to make open world mass effect and instead ended up making a PG13 goody two shoes game 😒 can't even pop someone's apace helmet in vacuum and have their head explode.

Never should have shown his face in the first place, i always expected master chief to be some heavily scarred bald dude like Darth Vader under the helmet anyway not some "handsome" guy for people to swoon over, character is supposed to be stoic but this guy he looks more like the male stripper you can play as in dead island 2 and he's a comic relief character.

@AlwaysPlaying game of the year means nothing though it's the video game equivalent of the ballon d'or.

Let's see statistics of how many people playing BG3 have actually played divinity, pillars of eternity, xcom or any isometric turn based game really i don't think many have, everyone and their grandmother is playing BG3 because of word of mouth which has really been the deciding factor on if a game gets awards, nobody wants to be the outlier watching the bandwagon.

My most played game is battlefield 2042 so that should tell people all they need to know about the state of the games industry and in particular fps games when that Frankenstein of a battlefield is my most played

@ZuneTattooGuy that happens with every game, you'll see one person make a video on something it could be a decades old game but if it does well you'll then see a bunch of recommendations where other YouTubers/streamers have released the same video just worded differently on the same old or obscure game. I consider these people the world's biggest grifters.

Would be nice to see the remaining army of two games come to backwards compatibility catalogue or the dlc for oblivion to go on sale

@OldGamer999 there is no such thing as a "masterpiece" and for sure the two games you mentioned aren't, one is the same as the prior game which was terrible compared to the original trilogy and they ruined the whole character you play as, the other is a game for kids.

No, i like the linear levels of prior gears of war games

@Dan1283 the only exclusive that has "wiped the floor" has been days gone and maybe ghosts of tsushima if it comes to pc and i play it, every other exclusive I'd argue is mediocre and caters to specific audience i.e marvel watchers/people who hate a certain rich guy.

Dead space is still too expensive for a game which is essentially a remaster, a reboot would imply they heavily changed the story but from what I'm aware they just made isaac remove his helmet constantly, talk, downgraded certain characters and made the graphics better.

A remake to me is like FF7 heavily changed from the original version so still to me dead space on sale isn't worth it

Activision still charging ludicrous prices for 12 year old games that are full of hackers, you know for a fact they don't want anything on game pass

The whole dashboard makes me more miserable, it reminds me so much of steam big picture mode, the old dashboard had a cozy, warm feeling, this new one is too small, cluttered and less personal period.

They really should add a new option to console personalization and allow people to pick from the various different dashboards Xbox has had instead of forcing one on us that essentially takes away from everyone having their own unique little dashboard.

They need to now introduce a way to revert dashboards come on someone with clout has gotta push for that feature because this new dashboard it's about as miserable as steam big picture mode, old dashboard was comfy and unique to you, now we all have the same lifeless dashboard

Game is still terrible and clearly made by people who have never played a battlefield game and lied on their job applications.

What Jim Ryan said is pretty much him projecting his feelings onto others, he doesn't like game pass he would rather people pay £70 for the same game a third time, he doesn't realise people do buy games they enjoy on game pass... I played stellaris enjoyed it so much i brought it and a bunch of the dlc.

Sega wouldn't have brought the Yakuza games to game pass if they didn't get something out of it, I'm sure there are devs that put their game on game pass and regret it but I believe the majority are fine with it especially when their games may be a bit older and game pass gives them that platform to attract new players.

@Moonglow Where are you getting this information? Show your sources because this just sounds like a lie Todd would put out such as fallout 3 having 200 endings and Skyrim being able to be played forever (only a thing because of modders)
