I’m a little tempted by Cowabunga Collection, Klonoa, Sonic Colors and Steelrising, but I think I’m gonna hold out for the New Years Countdown sale instead.

Why are so many developers and publishers still calling XSX/XSS and PS5 ”next-gen”? They have been current gen for two whole years now!

Besides that pet peeve, it’s nice to have a release date for this. I haven’t played Witcher 3 yet, so maybe it’s finally time after this update. I didn’t like Witcher 2, but I’ve heard that 3 is much better.

Tbh, I only ever cared about the OG Xbox and 360 titles, since those were the ones you got to keep forever. So GwG is pretty much dead to me now 🤷‍♀️

30 fps in a modern action game? No thanks.
I was not very interested in this game to begin with, and now even less.

@Lup you don’t have to see a game in the list to start downloading it. You can either just search for the game in the store on the console, or you can start the download remotely via the Game Pass app on your phone.

I think they’ve mentioned a Series X/S version a couple of years ago, but when that fps upgrade patch dropped I think everyone just assumed that it was that they meant.

Glad to see it’s finally seems to be getting a native Series X/S version

@gollumb82 @Solidchief It’s not up to Microsoft which games are on sale; it’s up to the publishers, and none of the games you mentioned are published by Microsoft.
Otogi is published by Sega, A&D by LucasArts and FEAR by Warner, so it would be up to those publishers to put those specific games on sale from time to time.

I would be very interested in this device if it was cheaper, $350 seems too much for this.

@Rafie I think they might be referring to Shin Megami Tensei Nine, that was on the OG Xbox, since Persona is a subseries to SMT.

Edit: But then again, Soul Hackers 2 released last month so that would’ve been the return to Xbox and not P5R if they meant general SMT. So they must’ve meant Persona, and in that case only the Arena games have released on Xbox before.

I’m not the biggest fan of the genre, but I really enjoyed Yakuza: Like a Dragon, and right now I’m playing Soul Hackers 2.

Are the battles turn-based?

If I ever get to it, which game should I begin with; Symphonia, Vesperia or Arise?

@AtlanteanMan The OG Xbox and Xbox 360 Games with Gold have always been yours to keep forever, only the Xbox one and Series S/X games are tied to the subscription.

I might consider getting this game if they release a light gun for it, but I’m not going to play a light gun game with a control pad.

I noticed they changed the menu tiles for most of the AC games yesterday. All AC games except the Ezio Collection, the Chronicles trilogy and the BC games now have black/gold theme tiles.

@InterceptorAlpha I love Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2, but MUA 3 was a disappointment for me, so I hope they do better than that if they ever make a fourth game in the series.
I would love to see remastered versions of the X-Men Legends games, I never played them back in the day, but I’ve understood that Ultimate Alliance was sort of a spiritual sequel to Legends.

Still looks like some pretty significant updates are on the way, so I’m glad I haven’t played this game yet.

Elder Scroll VI is the game I look forward to the most, but Avowed is the game I’m most excited for which I feel are two different things. It feels like ES6 is still way too far from release to be excited about yet.

I haven’t seen any news article mentioning this game releasing on anything other than PC so I just assumed that no console versions had been announced.

I think Game Pass has been fantastic this summer! Both Shredder’s Revenge and PowerWash Simulator has been some of my favourite games this year, and I think I’ll start playing Shadowrun Returns soon.

If they ever add more games to the BC program, I hope they do Return to Castle Wolfenstein and Wolfenstein 2009.

I’m looking forward to Soul Hackers 2, even though I’m usually not a big fan of JRPGs, because I’ve liked the other SMT games I’ve tried.

I applaude this. I don’t think there has ever been a Black Panther game before, and I love the thought of it being single player.

I’ve never played Klonoa before, is this collection worth getting without having any nostalgia for the series?

@Would_you_kindly Yeah, you have to purchase it on the US store. I did that last year along with a some other US only digital releases.

@Banjo- Peace Walker was on a separate disc in the physical edition, and a separate purchase/download for the digital edition.

@Kaloudz Diablo 2 didn’t have a console version back in the day, but the PS1 version of Diablo 1 had couch co-op. The console version of Diablo 3 also had it, and Diablo 4 will have it, so Diablo 2 is the only game in the series totally lacking that feature.

I hope they will add couch co-op at some point.

I love 2D platformers, and I feel the need to support these games coming to Xbox. Especially after the sad news about the MM Battle Network collection.

Only 4,821 copies sold on Xbox One is in fact impossible, for reasons mentioned previously by both me and other users.

@anoyonmus Yeah, as @mousieone said, that statement that the Ace Attorney Trilogy only sold 1000 copies on Xbox is not true. Over 8000 users on trueachievements.com have Ace Attorney Trilogy on their profile, meaning that they have the game and has unlocked at least one achievement in it.
So those 8000 would not include any trueachievement users who have the game in their backlog, so that presumably means at least couple of thousand more.
But most of all, that number only includes Xbox players who also has a trueachievement account, which I bet most Xbox players don’t have. So my guess is that the actual sales numbers for the Xbox version is probably at least 20k.

@OliverOwen What do you mean by that? Is there any reason why you think this collection shouldn’t be realeased for Xbox?
All the other Mega Man collections were released on Xbox, so it just seems like a really strange decision to not realease this one too.

A huge disappointment for me, I had been looking forward to this collection and now I feel so let down. I really hope Capcom changes their mind about this.

I love both 3 and New Vegas, but Fallout 4 is my absolute favourite, and it’s my favourite Bethesda game to date together with Skyrim.

Then I hope we get at least one (preferably more than one) non-numbered Fallout game from another developer before Fallout 5 releases. Like they did with New Vegas.

@BAMozzy Sounds like you and I had the same kind of experience with Isolation, I’m glad I’m not alone in finding that game more frustrating than fun to play.

I kind of want to replay AvP now. I haven’t played it since it released in 2010, and it is BC

I’ve only played AvP 2010 and Isolation. AvP had some fun moments, while I absolutely hated Isolation. Isolation made me nothing but frustrated. So my vote clearly goes to AvP.

If Capcom’s AvP beat ’em up would have been on Xbox, I would have voted for that. I hope that Capcom releases a Capcom Beat ’Em Up Bundle vol.2 with AvP among others.

I’m hoping for a new Mega Man game. It’s been four years since MM11 released, so I thinks it’s about time for a new one.

I would also welcome more Capcom collections.
I know we have Arcade 2nd Stadium coming soon, but I would also welcome Capcom Beat ’Em Up Bundle vol. 2 and Mega Man Battle Network / Star Force Collection.

A Mega Man Handheld Collection would also be very cool, with Mega Man & Bass, the 5 Gameboy games plus the Game Gear, Neo Geo Pocket and Wonderswan games.

@Shigurui While it’s not my favourite, I think Resident Evil 6 gets far too much hate. As you said, the Mercenaries mode is great, and I think the campaigns are really fun in couch co-op. I also like Revelations 2 for that reason.

I hope Soul Hackers 2 will be the start of many more Atlus games, both new and old, releasing on Xbox

@Snake_V5 Are you sure? I’ve always been under the impression that Xbox players generally have higher attach rates for multiplat titles than Sony and (especially) Nintendo.

Why is Dark Souls 2 and Code Vein in this particular sale? None of those games are optimised for Series S/X.
