if you ask me ..logically GP will jump to at least 15$ a month sometime this year...

by the way seeing forza being in developer direct and on 26 livestream...the game most be coming very soon...i would guess on june after 2 moths of redfall release (april) and to cover for starfield upcoming delay to oct/november

@Seioni well i found it funny when poeple says "you dont have to buy it when its out wait for discounts" ...wow thats something i didnt think of...if most of gamers around the world wasnt wating for discount to begin with to purchase their games!!! you know how those will be affected? discounts are counted by percentage ...so you still have to buy them more expensive on discount comparing to old times!!! if you were to buy games brand new for 60$ and 30$ after 2-3 years (not COD tho) now you will get it 80$ new and 40$ after 2-3 years

@J_Mo_Money 10$-18$ is 8$...not 2$...if gamepass is 14$ im stopping subscribing ...and 80$ games is crazy expenisive i wont buy them or pay the service then...im old anyway im already half way out of gaming ...its as expensive as ever and i got no time and lot of bills and s*** to take care for ...also games new aday are boring first 6h is exciting then its boring as he** after, all AAA developers seem to walk with the wall afraid to take chances or being creative...
if GP go to +14$ im out of playing games maybe i will keep following news as its hobby of mine

yesterday sony raised the prices....today microsoft...you think raising games prices wont raise the service price ...i will gamble with my balls that gamepass will be 18$ soon instead of 10$ and if ABK go thro i will give it 2 years to be 20$ a month....

@grumpypotato i wasn't excited for 4k... But lets be honest playing 4k in a monitor is not much..... But playing on a tv is a huge thing if you get used to it you wont be able to play on 1080p again

Let me tell you something... Microsoft wasn't serious about gaming with xbox it was like a small side business for them but now with how much gaming make.... Microsoft is going full in starting with bathesda activision and we will see more... In the 4 gens of gaming i never saw microsoft serious about xbox till this gen.... They will buy and buy till they get blocked and will grabe every compititor into an endurance war of loss (gamepass) to grow fast

This is the thing... Microsoft will buy there way up like it or not... For me as long as gamepass is fed i don't care but it maybe come a day we regret being fans tho if xbox is in total control

Microsoft (bill gates) go the company to the top with bad blood watch a documentary about the past but his now a good guy so microsoft is nice too but they still ruthless in business and grab compitition into endurance war and buy them in the end... @Cyberpsycho... They said 8k media support... 8k gaming is years ahead if you ever understand pc specs you will understand how much power a AAA game in 4k needs... Hell my rtx 2070 is crying in 4k resolution and you want 8k gaming on consoles!!! Its even great to see 4k gaming on a console!!! You should be thankful for the time we are in

@WallyWest they cant buy others..... Rejecting a world record aquasition in gaming doesn't mean you cant buy smaller ones... They wil buy many publishers still... Maybe 2 like ubisoft that is suffering and sega.. And they can buy as many studios as they want... Lets not forget how much money they can put on 3rd party exclusivity and exclusive contents as thats like money change for microsoft

im not a big fan of souls games but i like to play them and have a challenge from time to time ...im not getting frustrated dying in them as i expect it to be with the package...
but yeah as im working ll day i usually just play some frindly games like pokemon or a something like fallout cyberpunk ....with not much challenge...

if your not having fun with them and dont feel like a king beating bosses ...dont play them but respect others enjoyimg them

xbox series x is a great console and i loved it last year ... but it was gathering dust this year i only now play on my gaming laptop...
man microsoft have 25 studios and 2022 was so emptyyyy so emptyyy and they now raised the prices and 2023 seem ok but i will be honest starfield maybe the hugest game in years in xbox system... but redfall looks like an ok game....that the issue their is no WOW experience in xbox and they are not good at choosing 3rd party exclusivity deals aside of indies
i love xbox but i think im moving on

I recentlt got to love RTS and xcome like games... Its not for everyone but its avery loved genres by many

@gamma64 from all 5 generations i was in this is difinitly the slowest I've seen...and it still didn't feel like next gen... You know even with the ps4 lunch we felt like wow look at those gorgeous graphics and then huge rich world came in with the witcher 3.... Now unreal engine and unity making some increadible showcase for their engines but devs aren't jumping in so they can target the 140 million of last gen users

the list is good for 2020 ...but 2021 was bad for xbox 1st party...GP was the only shining star for Xbox this year but they HAVE TO MAKE 2023 "THE YEAR" we need starfield to be great..we need redfall to be great and we need Forza Motosport to be great....and even this isn't enough!! stalker 2 and a surprising game like avowed should be in 2023 ..
You need all of this just to start "competing' with sony, and despite what happens to ABK buy Asobo !!! you need a 3rd party cinematic game for your system and asobo got the talent !
xbox need 4 or 5 1st party or 3rd party exclusives a year with 2 of them being excellent quality to catch up to sony

but Devs are busy creating games on ps4 and xbox one....don't know when Devs start giving us a real next gen experience

and its even more stunning with all the ''cuted'' Dungeons and quest exclusively on Playstation and you know whats more stunning...their is a hole shop exclusive to PS players.....
xbox i swear to god i was being very reasonable last 2 years as a returned fan to your platform ....no exclusive this year and clapping for GOW Ragnarök everywhere on twitter doing them free marketing when sony is literally punch in you in the balls for the AKB aquesition and with content exclusivity and blocking games from GP .....

ok MS i was nothing but reasonable as a fan ...i know that you had only 5 studios by 5 years ago and most studios are newly bought or already realsed their games multiplatfom not long ago...

i was happy with Halo infinite and horizon 5 scorn too but you gatta start delivering heavy weight games quarterly to compete !! as reasonable fan thats very aware of the all the problems and love the brand.....you have to stop being bruce banner and transform to the hulk and start smashing

I mean obsidian is one of the smallest studios under Microsoft with 300 employees but still just released grounded and will release pentiment and working on the avowed which look amazing from the leaked pre alpha SC... And working on outer world and saying they want to work on fallout new vegas 2!!! Those guys are gold... Meanwhile other studios (except bathesda and playground) are sleping in honey... Lazy and i always picture them eating donuts in hall... 4 years and more no game release no gameplay lot of reboots and bad news

They deserve it... Yeah they made a bad lunch but they worked hard to redeem themselves... I player the games in march and i was in love with it waiting now for a game+

I don't know how to feel about this... If they mean a luncher like steam on pc with library of games to buy and play...yeah it can work for them but taking customers from google play and apple is impossible for now maybe having 5% of the market will be a huge success in their plan

Honestly with all the delays and long development period of games!!! I will swear most of the studios stuff is hiding in corners eating donuts or do nothing and get paid well

@Rangers420 most studios was aquired no more than 5 years...lot is coming next year and 2024 and i think xbox is still to gain experience on menaging those studios and choose the right projects and the right people to lead them i wont worry on long term

@Bleachedsmiles while buying games exclusivity is an immidiate solution i think it doesnt go much with gamepass driven benifit... Microsoft is aiming to have studios that can deliver 5 games a year to feed gamepass and xbox ecosystem with self dev games and rely less on 3rd party games on gamepass to have more income and lessen the expenses

so many bugs and connection issues ...slow farming and not so good mechanics... i will play it again when they fix those issues

@InterceptorAlpha you said it...microsoft! not xbox ! dont mix both....gaming is diffrent and the consumer are very demanding ! dont mix it with a profissional software dev were you make a software to be used for business or communnication and thats it!!! in a game you got more than programmers! you got artist designers writers .... this is entertainment business and xbox not microsoft is the on taking charge and xbox had 5 studios that was multip. by 5 in a short time! they need to gain experience to run such a huge numbers of devs and hire people from xbox office to observe and act to keep things under control

remember its xbox devision xbox brand is a part of microsoft group and they even have their own ceo

@InterceptorAlpha no they just need instant solution business never wait...and yeah they got problems running their studios....but remember that only 5 years ago MS had only 5 studios and now they got 24 studios (without ABK) which is huge, but dont worry they just need experience and they need to establish 2 suppoting studios to help other studios to deliver on time...

MS need experience on running studios it will come with time and also they need more auditors and observers to keep them in check (i bet most of those studios staff is hidding in corners eating donuts

microsoft paid 68billion to buy ABK
COD make around 500 million yearly on PS
Microsoft paid soo much and they have 2 options as we can think of as small poeple behind keyboards:
1_ keep the game on PS and get that sure money
2_ make it exclusive and burn PS money but sell more consoles and get more subs on GP and new players that will spend money in COD SHOP and out of COD in xbox store and get that 25% cut on anything they spend...will MS make more money making it exlusive? i dont know...
little we know about huge companies and there priorities is cloud gaming is their eyes is the future and they will do anything to control the cloud market while the market is so open...i dont know....

poeple calculate it like 1.5 billion profit by COD 500m from sony so its 1500-500=1000b.....no its far more complicated than that only microsoft knows what their real plan is
