It was back in May of last year that Bethesda decided to delay both Starfield and Redfall to the first half of 2023, and while we still don't have any official release dates for either as of yet, it sounds like the latter is almost ready to go.

According to a new report from Windows Central, Redfall is currently targeting a release in May 2023, and specifically the first week in May. The new co-op shooter from Arkane Studios was previously rumoured to be arriving in March by Okami13 on Twitter, before he, too, suggested that it had been pushed back to early May 2023.

The report mentions that Redfall is set to receive an early access period similar to Forza Horizon 5's launch in 2021, where certain players will get access to the game slightly ahead of time, although specifics have yet to be revealed.

Hopefully we might find out more about the official date for Redfall (and Starfield) at some kind of Xbox event in early 2023, which has been rumoured to be happening over the past month. Let's kick the year off with a bang, Microsoft!
