Awesome, I've been waiting for routine for like 13 years, those who know, know, for those who don't this game was first revealed in like 2012 and then re revealed a few years ago at the Xbox show. Never thought it would come out. I hope it's as cool as it looks.

@NavalHistorian the trick is most of us aren't good enough at first, it's a matter of whether you want to keep trying till you get it or not. Some people just don't want to do that and I get it but souls likes are fairly difficult even for those of us who play all of them, if they were easy I'd lose a lot of interest. There was some bosses on khazan that took me dozens of tries. I used to get frustrated but I don't anymore I just keep trying till I manage.

Damn, I knew I shouldn't have bought this a few weeks ago. I had this feeling it was coming to gamepass. It was only 5$ but still ..

No offense bro but this game is kinda crap. I bought it when it first came out, I think it was cause I just wanted to play something made with the SX in mind and there wasn't much else at the time but damn is it boring. I should have learned with the first watch dogs game. I think I put maybe 5 or 6 hours in it and never turned it on again .

Definitely interested in a few of those at least by the descriptions

Thanks, I was so confused as to why there was an option to download mw2 campaign but you can't actually play it. I'm still confused as why it's setup that way. In any case MS should have dropped all 3 of them instead of just mw3. Btw I started the first mission in mw3, the rainy prison setting, and I swear I've played that exact mission before and I know I've never played mw3. WTF is going on

Still wakes the deep looks awesome. I love horror games and theres so few of them relatively speaking. I Hope routine comes out at some point soon and it's not another 10 years again like the first time they announced it. That game always looked cool and then just vanished and the it got announced again what 2-3 years ago now and havnt heard anything since..... again

Earning potential actually went up quite a bit in the last month or two compared to the previous months when they were screwing around with nerfs. It's not back to it's highest point from a couple years ago but it's still better than it was. In any case it's free money, I can't complain, I've gotten probably a dozen free full priced games out of it over the years. 4-5 100$ gift cards a year for about 5 min a day of my time. Used to be less time before the stupid 5 second search cooldown timer.

I bought evil west when it released, never finished it. It looked a lot cooler watching gameplay than it was to actually play. I'm just not a big fan of its gameplay and combat, It sort of feels clunky and it's not very satisfying imo.

I played the original version when it was on gamepass before, I honestly don't even remember if I finished it or not if that tells you anything. Game isn't terrible it's just not all that great either. I think their games are overrated. The OG Alan wake and that alan wake nightmare game are the only games I've really liked of theirs. AW2 is boring

What a joke that list is. Most of them are essentially all the games that were over hyped by internet sheep, the kind of people that blindly jump on hype trains simply because they see others do it until it picks up a level of steam far beyond what it's really worth. Im sure BG3 is a fine game but there's just no way it's as good as people give it credit for. It's definitely not better than elden ring. Same with witcher 3, that game is so overrated.

@ShadowofTwilight how did gamepass ruin physical games? That was done with digital years before gamepass because it's just easier and more convenient. I used to be hard core game collector but I rarely replay old games especially if I've 100% them which is why I'm fine with digital and I love gamepass. It was fun going to midnight releases and stuff like that but it's just so much easier to pre install and play right at release time. I have hundreds of game boxes collecting dust and it's been extremely rare that I'll dig one out, there's too many new games I spend my time on. How anyone can think gamepass is bad is just baffling to me

I haven't looked, I always buy the 100$ card when I get to 91k, usually get about 4 a year. It sucks if it went up but to be fair they actually made getting points a little easier and faster the last month or so. Please stop begging for this game, it's making Xbox gamers look like simps. You win some you lose some. Ps gamers didn't get pal world and had to deal with it. Just stop the port begging. I'd rather have exclusives than have every game on every platform. It just doesn't make sense for direct competitors because eventually one platform will win all and become then core gamer console monopoly it'll likely be PlayStation and I prefer xbox. Competition has pushed both to do better in recent years. Imagine how bad things would be for consumers with only one core console. F that

I pretty much made my decision after the ridiculous bumper boats battle intro with boats everywhere going in all directions running into each other just so you can have fodder to shoot at. The ship combat is as far as you can get from anything approaching tactical and nuanced. It's just a shooter on the water. It's not black sails it's black ops, might as well just play cod

TCP wasn't exactly what I was hoping for but I still liked it more than most games that year. I love sci Fi and like sci horror even more, the atmosphere alone makes it worth playing. I hope they stick with sci horror for their next game. They're great at building those worlds.

The old prince games were really boring but I love Metroidvanias and the demo was pretty fun. Reminds me of strider a bit aesthetically speaking, strider was a really underrated MV. The biggest problem I have with this game is it's f 50$. I've personally never seen a MV that was more than like 30$. This game is way overpriced I don't care how long the play time is and I doubt it's in the same league as the GOAT MV's which were all less expensive. Games like shadow complex, hollow knight, grime, strider, blasphemous, ori, symphony of the night, ritual of the night, last faith, the mummy demastered, etc....all amazing games and all like half the price or less. This game should be 29$

I have/had a system for doing daily points and if it takes more than a min or so for a single quest I don't do it unless the points are really worth it. Especially for playing a game I wasn't already intending on playing and it still worked out well, was getting 4, sometimes 5 100$ gift cards a year before the multiple nerfs in the last year or so. Used to take me only a few min to do all the daily rewards across Xbox, gamepass and bing Including searches. Now it's probably more like ten minutes because of the dumb 5 second search cooldown timer. At least they took the 15 min cooldown away, that was crap. Was about to quit doing the searches. Point is, turning on the switch isn't really worth the time just for that imo

I like how they give us 1000 points and act like they did us a solid. It was 1000 points already for years until they nerfed it to 500 maybe 6 months ago but now it's more tedious to get. I stopped doing most of the gamepass quests after that nerf when all the daily stuff got cut in half or less along with the 500 pt one. The dumb search timer sucks too they added recently, 5 seconds between searches but at least they dropped the 15 min cooldown timer after a couple weeks , that was dumb

Great year for souls likes, lies, lords, remnant 2, wo long, along with some good indie souls games like the last faith and blasphemous 2. Obviously fromsofts games are on another level but Im not a souls snob and almost always enjoy the copy cat souls games with a few exceptions such as code vein which was really boring

@Divide_and_Wander yeah playing most game through the cloud sucks. Game streaming just isn't there yet. Some slower paced games are okay streaming like turn based stuff or things that don't depend on quick responses. There's just too much input lag and the visual fidelity isn't as good..streaming shooters just isn't fun

I like it but there's so many games this year I set it aside for a while but I will get back to it soon. Had it come out last year i would have put a lot more time in it so far

Not sure how anyone can be excited for this, there's no indication as the what the game will be like..it could be walking sim for all we know. Call me when clockwork revolution gets a release date

Would be way better if you could run solo. I hate having to play with randoms online. Plus there's just way too many other games id rather spend my time on right now, if this came out last year it would be more appealing. Because of all that I probably won't put much time in it even though the game is fairly enjoyable and has a cool setting and visuals

@NorthwestEagle I hope they never do another online launch like that again. They should allow people to pre order early based on seniority as far as how long you've been with Xbox instead of dropping it same day for everyone so they can weed out all the scalpers, hype jumpers and casuals. I Tried that morning before work and didn't get one and was super pissed and then my kid called me and said there's some SX back up on best buy. He earned himself a free SX for that cause otherwise It probably would have been months before I got one.

I have/had this, havnt seen any of these zero point achievements for years and don't even know how to find them. I remember they tried doing app achievements in early xbone which was really stupid idea. Why would anyone want an achievement for watching Netflix. Meanwhile we still don't have a simple 100% completion page to display all our completed games in one place .not sure why that doesn't exist now when it did on the 360

I completed this game like 11 years ago. Too many new games to replay old stuff right now. Not too worried about this.

Thank God they're making an eat prompt. It's so annoying having to pick something up and then select it from inventory. The brightness/contrast will be nice too, I like my games a little dimmer. Starfield can look washed out at times.

@SmugBurrito4119 that's the way it's supposed to be setup of course..the problem is when you do that unless you have a new and expensive reciever youre likely losing out on 4k, Variable refresh rate, 120hz and things like that that most receivers likely don't pass through. That's why I'm just using regular DD instead of atmos cause I have to use the eARC channel in order to keep those features intact.

@InfamousOrange I have no delay with DD, it's what I've been using since day one because the atmos dealt is really bad

I've had this problem from day one. I figured it's because I'm using the eARC channel on my tv so I don't lose out on all the new gen features like VRR, 4k, 120hz etc.. I don't think my receiver will pass all that through to the TV if I plug the hdmi into my receiver first and then to my tv. So I chose to lose atmos in favor of having those other things work and just use regular Dolby digital instead. There's no delay with DD or DTS. Just atmos. I hope they fix this because this is a loss of an important feature and it's frustrating..I'm not holding.my breath though, I'm quite sure they're well aware of this issue

@Romans12 poor man's dark souls? Wo long is nothing like dark souls. Maybe a poor man's sekiro. In any case it sounds to me like you got clapped at the first boss and decided it was bad from there

@Kaloudz you can grind levels a bit but it's not all that helpful like with dark souls. I think lies of P is going to have hard bosses that you simply have to over come through deaths and learning it's moves rather than being able to over level and over power them. It's got some sekiro inspiration in it in that regard

You PlayStation fans can thank Xbox that PS5 has BC at all. I guarantee they had no intention of bothering with it until Xbox made it important and almost a requirement again. And while youre at it you can thank Xbox for trophies and ps+ (gamepass ripoff) amongst other things Sony copied. Almost every new feature on ps since the PS3 came on the heels of Xbox doing it first or having a superior version forcing Sony to improve such as with psn+ in 2009-10. PlayStation would be antiquated af if not for Xbox giving them someone to follow. And yes Xbox fans have benefited from PlayStation forcing MS to do better but feature wise almost all the innovation has been done by MS

Honestly gamepass is worth twice it's price to me. I don't want it too be that high but I wouldn't feel bad paying 20 a month. Still not a lot of money at all for what you get

The funny part about Sony is they pretend to be so high and mighty above Xbox yet they're so concerned with everything they do and they constantly copy Xbox's entire business direction and copy all their features and rarely do anything new on their own. Most of the new PS5 features were on Xbox last gen. Nevermind all the other stuff they stole in the past like achievements which the entire industry copied. PlayStation is a much better console than it otherwise would be if not for Xbox existing. You can thank Xbox for backwards compatibility which Sony had no interest in doing before Xbox did it, for trophies, for a better psn (remember when PSN was trash compared to xbl), for ps+, for more powerful hardware than ps5 would have otherwise har, ps games on pc etc....Sony is lazy as f and likes to ride the coattails of their developers and of their previous success and don't want to be bothered with doing anything new. Xbox may be last in sales but theyre 1st in innovating and pushing the industy forward

@Traman500 they did because they can. Of all the publishers Bethesda has one of the best IP lineups especially for gamepass. It made sense. Other than them and maybe take two there's probably not a better publisher for quality single player stuff. Sony tried to do Xbox dirty, is MS not allowed to play the same game? Sony shouldn't have poked the bear, that's on them and they're still doing it.

Need dates for silksong, darktide, routine, hellblade 2, stalker 2, lies of p and replaced. Hopefully we finally see avowed gameplay, wouldn't mind gears trilogy remake (not remaster), and some new reveals. No more time wasted on games weve already seen a couple times. Also no one cares about sports games or movie or show adaptations....unless it's gears or fallout. Games only

There's a better way to fix this. By improving the achievement system so that gamerscore itself isnt the most prominent thing relating to achievements. They can do this by adding completion achievements of varying value based on completion difficulty. A sort of bronze through plat or green through orange type system where your completion achievements are shown right next to your gamer score so you can tell who the real core players are vs the bottom feeders without having to look through someones entire list to see if it's loaded with shovelware or not. If your million GS is nothing but bronze/green (common) completions you'll look like a clown and it'll get people to actually put time into harder games to get their gold,plat/purple (rare) ,orange (legendary) completions. It would add a cool layer to a system that hasn't changed in a decade. At least a 100% completion page would be cool..not sure why that doesn't exist

They need to fix the bug for finding all the pandas achievement, it's the last achievement I need and I've done all of them at least twice and no achievement. Pretty annoying.

If Lana isn't a metroidvania it's nothing like Ori. If it is I'm all over it. Second one sounds cool too if it's actually like mutant year zero.

@NarutosBiggestFan just curious, why not play it then. It's pretty good for a non from software game. If it's that you don't like the difficulty it just takes perceverance. Anyone can get through these games. It took me a ton of tries to beat a couple of the demo bosses..

Max Payne 3 is f awesome. I really wish it would have gotten an enchantment of some type at least through Xbox. I know rockstar doesn't really do remasters other than releasing gta5 like 4 times. Can't wait for GTA 6, rdr2 is still one of the best looking games of all time and hoping gta6 surpasses it. Playing rdr2 on SX looks better than most current gen games

@Moonglow atomic heart, then wo long not far after. I love gamepass, even when it's kinda dry like last year I still find things to play. This year will be chock full though. Lie of p, flintlock, Benedict fox, silksong, replaced, ark 2, Forza ms, starfield, and hopefully stalker 2 as well as I'm sure a ton of shadow drops and who knows what will be announced in the comiing months. Even if that's it that's a lot of quality
