It's been a long time since we first mentioned Ereban: Shadow Legacy and its intent to launch on Xbox Game Pass, and sadly plans have changed since then - it's suffered a rare cancellation in terms of its Game Pass launch.

The reason is because it's no longer being published by Raw Fury (it seems the developer is self-publishing instead), which means not only has the Game Pass release been cancelled, but the Xbox release has been postponed too.

"Unfortunately, due to recent changes in our partnership with Raw Fury as our publisher, the release of Ereban: Shadow Legacy on Xbox and Game Pass on Day One got cancelled. However, please rest assured that we will do our best to bring Ereban to Xbox as soon as possible."

Of course, there's always a chance the game could find its way back to Xbox Game Pass in the future, but for now it's no longer part of the 2024 Game Pass lineup. If you were excited for this one, you'll have to think about buying it!

The good news is that Ereban: Shadow Legacy is launching for PC as soon as April 10th, as shown in the trailer up above. There's no date or a release window for the Xbox version yet, but hopefully it won't be too far away.
