I’m legit pumped for this. I think I stated elsewhere here on the site that this is gonna be my chillax after work game.
Power washing is actually pretty satisfying IRL too….not exciting…but definitely satisfying
After finishing up Dead Space for the Monthly Game Club I wanted more…so I fired up Dead Space 2 and ran through the Severed dlc in about an hour (it’s super short) and was impressed with how good the old 360 games looks with fps boost. Think I might make a run on all the bc 360 games with fps boost now.
I have had no good experiences at all with PowerA controllers or any other third party controller. Granted I haven’t taken the leap into SCUF territory and all that. Maybe the quality of PowerA has changed over the years?
This should’ve been done on an official Xbox controller.
I’m gonna give all these a whirl. Pretty sure I’m gonna bounce super hard off of DJ Max and Tennis but that’s alright. Road 96 looks pretty cool, looking forward to it.
I copped Silent Hill: Homecoming and I think I’m gonna grab the Silent Hill “HD” Collection. I know these games were never patched but this is probably the only way I’ll get to experience them so I’ll suck it up and deal with it.
Finished up the first game in Shadow trilogy this past week and immediately moved on to Dragonfall afterwards. Good stuff, it’s scratching the srpg itch without all the relationship stuff of FE to balance. Good times. Also started up Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands which has been a blast so far.
And after reading guys review up there of neon white, that’s now on my radar.
@Retrokingdan still lots of people playing WWZ? Thinking about buying Afternath myself. Did they fix the crashing issuing in Rome (I think that’s where it was)?
Shadowrun Returns. Game is good, but a bit janky for sure. I’m about 75% through my first playthru. Good stuff, regardless of the few bugs I’ve encountered.
I’ve been pumped for years to play these games….glad they’re finally on a platform I own. Looking forward to digging in tonight, anticipation for Shadowrun has me walking with pep in my step today!!
@Auglicious that’s the game I REALLY wanted for Dads day gift, but 57 for the X/S version is too rich for my blood….hoping it’s down to like 20 by fall
Finished Shredders Revenge yesterday. Good times, but I doubt I’ll replay it much more than the level I played as Casey Jones. Other than that, probably just some Far Cry 6 while I wait for Shadowrun Returns to drop next week
Hot Wheels is still just a biiiiiit too expensive for me..I think it’ll be under 20 by the time fall gets here. Meanwhile, not sure if it’s listed, but Wasteland 3 for 10 bucks…I’m gonna have to do that, I think. I played a bit of it when it releases on Game Pass and enjoyed it. Ended up getting eclipsed by whatever was hotter at the time though
I’ve been messing around in The Division 2 endgame…it’s a good way to keep my hands busy while listening to podcasts. Also soldiering on in my campaign play through of Battlefield Bad Company. The humor really carries the campaign, and the shooting is still pretty good. Keeping the right stick clicked in to sprint though is pretty terrible and archaic as far as mechanics go. I’m gonna have to see if there’s a click-to-sprint option available. Also started a new game on Cyberpunk 2077. Gonna give it a fair shake now that the game is decent to actually look at. Hyped for the release of Shadowrun Returns!!! Cyberpunk should carry me through until the 21st of next month or whenever that one drops. Other than that I’m working all weekend to make up a day I missed last week.
Nothing yet. I’ll tell you what, Xbox: give me one of those cards, and I’ll raise you $30-$50 when I spend it on something other than the budget sale titles all of us own already.
Current-Gen only. Ps5 and Series are both current Gen consoles. It’s been a couple years now. You guys can call the current generation of consoles the current gen. It’ll all be ok.

Re: Talking Point: Xbox Series S Owners, How's Your Storage Looking In 2022?
I only play a couple games at any given time and when I finish I just delete. HDD space is very rarely an issue for me.
Re: Ubisoft Moves To $70 Price Point With Next-Gen-Only Skull & Bones
All good….this’ll be down to 20 bucks or lower towards the end of its first year out

Re: Deals: Xbox 'Back Compat Sale' Now Live, 100+ Games Included
@rhyno_888 damn fine picks. This reminded me to go back and pick up Peace Walker…which is my fave MG game

Re: These 14 Games Are Coming To Xbox Game Pass (July 5-14)
Ngl, Power Wash Sim looks like it could be a good time as an after-work and need-to-wind-down game.

Re: When Will The Xbox Summer Sale 2022 Be Revealed?
@PhhhCough don’t forget about all the Sims 4 dlc. Total dross

Shadowrun Returns.
Game is good, but a bit janky for sure. I’m about 75% through my first playthru. Good stuff, regardless of the few bugs I’ve encountered.
Re: Review: Industria - A Disappointingly Dull Sci-Fi Short
This’ll probably end up being one of the 3 dollar games we see in Xbox sales, eventually. I’ll give it a go then.
Re: Review: Shadowrun Trilogy - A Superb Tactical RPG Series Hacks Into Xbox Game Pass

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (June 18-19)
@MarkD01 that one’s on my wish list. The screens and no small amount of comparisons to Half Life 2 have me intrigued

Re: Poll: What Score Would You Give TMNT: Shredder's Revenge So Far?
The only answer is Excellent. There would have been more 10’s if 10 were “Cowabunga”.
Re: Poll: What Was Your Favourite Moment Of 2022's Xbox Games Showcases?
@Krzzystuff I think it’s gonna be the mobile version of LoL, Wild Rift.
I really hope they come to console Game Pass, as I really can’t afford a gaming rig
Re: Poll: What Was Your Favourite Moment Of 2022's Xbox Games Showcases?
Agree with awp. Persona was the nicest surprise, although the Riot games coming to console was a nice one too.
Re: Review: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge - A Totally Radical Retro Delight
Very fitting that the rating is “Excellent” for a TMNT game.
Re: Elden Ring Patch 1.05 Adds Faster Loading Times On Xbox Series X|S
Can Radagon still be cheesed though?
Re: Poll: How Would You Grade The Xbox Games Showcase 2022?
Can’t give it an A. No shadow drops.
Re: Team Ninja Reveals New Xbox Game Pass Title, 'Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty'
@Kooky_Daisuke
Fair. Conversely I hope it’s a Souls like, and has built in, elegant difficulty options like Elden Ring. Looks good regardless
Re: Xbox 'Deals Unlocked' Sale Now Live, 500+ Games Included
With Ninja Turtles arriving on Game Pass next week and Shadowrun Trilogy after that I feel like I can probably give this sale a solid pass
Re: TNMT: Shredder's Revenge Launches Day One On Xbox Game Pass Next Week
@Krzzystuff my sentiments exactly. Gonna ask my son to play couch co op with me as his Dad’s Day gift to me (he has no choice really lol)
Re: Aliens Dark Descent Is Heading To Xbox One, Series X|S In 2023

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (June 4-5)
Cyberpunk 2077, Diablo Immortal and something from NSO. Just got the Expansion pack.

Shredder’s Revenge on GP day 1.

👆 that’s false. GWG has been an issue for years. Takes priority 🙃

Meat Boy is good.

Re: Talking Point: What June 2022 Xbox Games With Gold Do You Want?
@Krzzystuff Everybody Loves Rayman 😂
I’d play a Ray Romano platformer.
Re: Talking Point: What June 2022 Xbox Games With Gold Do You Want?
I believe Elden Ring and Wonderlands would be pretty fair to us at this point.

Re: Fall Guys Launches On Xbox And Goes Free-To-Play This June
My son and his little goober buddies are gonna be beside themselves with joy.
They really get into this kinda game. Anything online MP, they’re down for, seems like.
Re: Rumour: Gears Of War 'Collection' Could Be Coming To Xbox This Year
Gears as a whole is an awesome series, and I’ll definitely replay all the campaigns with some fresh achievements to earn.
It’s also fun to see you guys all turn a Gears article into another discussion about Starfield and Redfall
