Want a free Xbox gift card?! Microsoft is giving away another round of free gift cards to various Xbox users for the weekend, and it seems that multiple regions are getting them, including the UK, US, Canada and many others.
In fact, even we received one for once here at Pure Xbox! Ours was in the form of a £4 gift card - you can see an example of the kinds of messages Xbox owners have been receiving on their consoles below:
As mentioned above, these Xbox Gift Cards appear to expire in just a month's time on June 30th, so if you're lucky enough to have received one, you're going to want to make sure you spend it over the next few weeks.
Some people have also been reporting that their Xbox credit balance hasn't been updated after receiving one of these gift cards, and if that's the case for you, it might be worth reaching out to Xbox Support for assistance.

Got one last time so doubt I’ll get one this time. Odd it expires sooner than the last one did. Thought this might be uk only to celebrate the jubilee…wonder if Xbox uk will do anything for it

Nothing on my end. Are these handouts normally US/UK only?
@Relygon Sometimes they're limited to one or a few specific regions, other times they're sent out to the majority.
They're always seemingly random though, so there's no guarantee you'll get one.

I don't think I've ever seen one of these when I hear about them. I eventually did get one XSX purchase email so it's not like they've totally forgotten about me.
Maybe they cut you off when you're over 200 games? Like a bartender when you start talking to your beverage napkin about politics?

From what I've been reading most ppl who haven't received one are people that regularly buy stuff on the store ...that's me out of the running if that's the case

@Martsmall been on XBL since it started, have brought stuff, used gamerpoints as well, never got a gift card, never thought I would get a gift card, but actually got one today, it's only £4 so nothing massive... dont feel bad, it may happen one day !

Guessing the more active you are on purchases linked to your account the less likely you are to get one. These initiatives are designed to increase spend per customer.
