Re: Xbox Game Pass Is Getting A Major Overhaul With New Names, Games & Price Changes

Myself & many others in the industry have been saying this for YEARS!!! It's not sustainable at the current levels. They killed software sales on their machines, thinking people would still buy some games, the numbers show they don't buy much of anything that's not on Gamepass. Sony did it the right way, wait 2 years or more & let the bottom feeders have the games after they've recouped their costs.

Re: Talking Point: After Almost Two Years, How Do You Feel About Xbox's Starfield In 2025?

The game is about as mid as you can get, not bad, not great. The problem is & this isn’t just a Starfield problem but when a game is in development for so long & gets hyped up so much before release & is just meh, it’s easier for it to bet beaten up, brushed off & people move on. There are side quests in Witcher 3 I still see people talking about years after release, Starfield had none of that, just very boring & generic design.

@EVIL-C Oh 100%!!! They did it as a desperate ploy to catch up to Sony & it backfired in the worst way possible, you got the bottom dwellers who don’t wanna buy games leeching off the system. They you’ll get a small but vocal minority saying well I played this on GamePass & bought it…but that’s just it, it’s a small minority that do that. The numbers show this, numbers don’t lie, people
Lie but numbers don’t.

It was a hell of a system once the Elite models came out. That first design was a clusterf#ck. I bought one of the small 4GB models last Black Friday for $129 & put in my old 500 GB HDD. I still play it all the time. Out of the three consoles they've released this one will be remembered the most fondly by far.

Re: Review: Assassin's Creed: Syndicate (Xbox One)

I'm about 50% through & already it seems Ubisoft has put the franchise back on track. Unity just threw everything on the map right at the start while Syndicate rolls it out over the first few hours and the map never looks cluttered like last years title.
The zipline is also something I didn't think I'd like but with London being so huge it's actually a great asset to have around & if they keep going forward should be a part of future Assassin's arsenals.
Where do they go from here though? My money is on one of the World Wars although I'd love for them to take it back to the past again. There's so many era's left behind.
