Been playing it since the 23rd as i bought the premium edition, it is fantastic.

It is not my goty but it is one of my favourites this year, it is such a breath of fresh air to play as a halo fan. I have played every halo game including wars and spartan assault and reach. Halo 1 and 2 have a special place in my memory, so this remake is magnificent.

I clean my series x, series s multiple times per year so my series x is completely silent. I can only hear it if i mute or remove all other sounds from the room and go down with my ear within a foot of it to listen. My series s is quiet but can hear the fans in higher graphic intense games.

While it is never good to see or hear about layoffs, i actually expected it to be a lot worse so i am a little releaved it is not worse.

The ad stuff was already debunked by michael ball himself. Was taken out of context, as for these rumours. They are just that, rumours. Until xbox make official statements, it is all speculation and many many times these supposed analysts and insiders have been wrong.

So let's wait and see, also considering something is not the same as putting it in motion.

I would say a c if ff7 and code veronica and tmnt the last ronin weren't there making it a B. All round pretty decent overall.

Pretty safe bet to assume the xbox event next month will have plenty of new games announced.

What about people with 2 million or 4 million gamerscore lol, do they get 2 of the 1 million badges or a 3 mill and 1 mill badge ha.

When i originally played it and beat it i would consider it an 8.5, but when they added the ability to swap melee weapons and shield runes on the fly and boosted the gun swapping speed. Then it became an instant 10 for me.

Would be amazing if id software did a remaster of it in id tech 8, or at least addex 120fps support and ray tracing to it on current gen consoles.

@FraserG ya that is entirely possible, and if this customiseable gamepass thing is true then maybe full nitro could be chooseable in a plan.

Maybe they will add discord nitro basic to gamepass ultimate, it is cheaper than full nitro so it makes a lot of sense.

Just do what they have done many times now, and make all games a year exclusive to xbox and pc minimum. Then you can decide about porting to playstation and nintendo after that point. Win win all round then, since it is obvious that full exclusives are not coming back now they saw those forza sales.

@oopsiezz restart your xbox, that has happened to me before after an update. It is a glitch. The games are still there, just glitched and not showing.

I would be happy with them just doing a minimum of 1 year of exclusivity on pillar franchise single player games. For instance gears of ear e-day and others, should be on xbox and pc and cloud only for at least 12 months. Then port them to playstation or switch after that period.

Other than that i am good.

Okay here is where it gets weird, if i search for the game it asks me to pay for it. However when i went into new games on the store on xbox, it showed up and said just for you and was 100% off and allowed me to install it.

No idea why it worked that way, but it did.

Still says 24.99 for me, then says other eidtions and shows the 360 version and takes me to that as my owned version when i click see owned edition.

So not fixed everywhere yet, just some places.

Still with ultimate until april 2028, and thanks to eu laws the price has stayed the same here where i am at 18 per month so i am happy to keep ultimate beyond 2028 too.

To be honest i don't miss out if any or all games go to playstation, i still get them on xbox which is where i main on console. More platforms means more money, more money may mean studios remain safe because the profit is higher. More players means more support for games and for longer.

As long as i get to play on my xbox this gen and next gen then i lose nothing really, and the coop and pvp player pool is expanded. I play every system each gen and have all 4 but xbox will always be my main console for all games.

It is a toss up between Doom the Dark ages, Clair obscur expedition 33 and cronos the new dawn for me.

Ninja gaiden 4 will likely be in the mix too.

Buy all first and third party games i want and play, only use gamepass for cloud when i am away from home on holidays/vactation. I sometimes demo 3rd party games on it too, to see if i wanna buy em.

I buy at launch too, don't wait for sales, but when sales are on i do pick up bargains i like the look of.

Well for a lot of games that is a couple of hundred thousand sales worth, i mean 70 million would be 1 million copies sold for a lot of triple a titles.

Most certainly will be buying it, i buy all my games as is. Only use gamepass for xcloud on the go when i am not at home.

Xbox still has the ip, so maybe let crystal dynamica take it over fully or give it to machine games or a well established and skilled studio to finish.

The studio being shut i can kind of get, the game may have been 2 years away from release for all we know and got rebooted multiple times. That's nearly 10 years dev time for their first title.

Surely though, another team like id or machine games, or someone with experience could have taken the game and finished it properly. Why not finish and release it to get some sort of return on the funding put in.

Chances are now microsoft have let more people go, sony may do so in the coming weeks too. My how gaming has changed since the millenium.

Bring back that hatchet too, it had the best melee kills and while at it allow the man to use it as a dual wield with a gun

By my friend and his brothers having an original xbox back in 2002, so i got one myself the following year and then bought a 360 in 2005 and every xbox since at launch
