Okay here is where it gets weird, if i search for the game it asks me to pay for it. However when i went into new games on the store on xbox, it showed up and said just for you and was 100% off and allowed me to install it.

No idea why it worked that way, but it did.

Still says 24.99 for me, then says other eidtions and shows the 360 version and takes me to that as my owned version when i click see owned edition.

So not fixed everywhere yet, just some places.

Still with ultimate until april 2028, and thanks to eu laws the price has stayed the same here where i am at 18 per month so i am happy to keep ultimate beyond 2028 too.

To be honest i don't miss out if any or all games go to playstation, i still get them on xbox which is where i main on console. More platforms means more money, more money may mean studios remain safe because the profit is higher. More players means more support for games and for longer.

As long as i get to play on my xbox this gen and next gen then i lose nothing really, and the coop and pvp player pool is expanded. I play every system each gen and have all 4 but xbox will always be my main console for all games.

It is a toss up between Doom the Dark ages, Clair obscur expedition 33 and cronos the new dawn for me.

Ninja gaiden 4 will likely be in the mix too.

Buy all first and third party games i want and play, only use gamepass for cloud when i am away from home on holidays/vactation. I sometimes demo 3rd party games on it too, to see if i wanna buy em.

I buy at launch too, don't wait for sales, but when sales are on i do pick up bargains i like the look of.

Well for a lot of games that is a couple of hundred thousand sales worth, i mean 70 million would be 1 million copies sold for a lot of triple a titles.

Pretty good deal.

Most certainly will be buying it, i buy all my games as is. Only use gamepass for xcloud on the go when i am not at home.

Xbox still has the ip, so maybe let crystal dynamica take it over fully or give it to machine games or a well established and skilled studio to finish.

Surely you have gutted enough now nadella, at this rate ms will be run by skeleton staff in 10 years.

The studio being shut i can kind of get, the game may have been 2 years away from release for all we know and got rebooted multiple times. That's nearly 10 years dev time for their first title.

Surely though, another team like id or machine games, or someone with experience could have taken the game and finished it properly. Why not finish and release it to get some sort of return on the funding put in.

Sad day indeed, hopefully the last cuts for a while and no studio closures.

Chances are now microsoft have let more people go, sony may do so in the coming weeks too. My how gaming has changed since the millenium.

Isn't it possible this may have to do with the rumoured cloud only gamepass tier spoken about a while back?

Just nab splinter cell, and the other tom clancy games. Maybe far cry too, but not all ip or the whole company. Ms and xbox have enough studios now.

Bring back that hatchet too, it had the best melee kills and while at it allow the man to use it as a dual wield with a gun
