It looks like Xbox has begun rolling out a new dashboard feature that visualises things like achievement progress and social information when viewing your games tiles.
At the moment, the tags appear to be limited to certain Xbox Insiders, presumably those enrolled on Alpha and Alpha Skip-Ahead rings. At a glance the update is tracking data and plopping these handy little tags inside or above the game tiles on the dashboard.
As you can see above, Troy is a big fan of shooters, with the new tags showing that the lad has earned all 23 achievements for Destiny 2, while someone from his friends list is currently online and playing Halo Infinite.
Personally, I really like the idea of seeing more information like this, but I'm not completely sold on the execution. It appears from the post below, that if you enlarge a game tile by hovering over it on the dashboard, the tags are moved inside the game tile, but will float above the tile if not.
My concern is that if say I'm a mighty popular chap and all my friends are online, and the achievement count is a permanent fixture, it could make my dashboard a little bit messy. Hopefully, when the feature rolls out to the general public, Xbox tuck toggles to turn it on or off in the settings somewhere.
