Battlefield 6 on Xbox, Dispatch on Steam

@Questionable_Duck No need, the new Xbox will be able to install the PC versions of those games.

A PC in a console form factor IMO. Will not be upgradable since they could not certify games as being Xbox compatible if they do not know exactly what hardware is in it.
About 1200 Euro. I wonder if users can attach a USB 4K drive and play their Xbox disk games as well as digital? That would be great.

@Bears-Wear-Hats Apparently HD2 is running on an old and obscure graphics engine. It's not Unreal Engine 4 or 5 so improvements might not be possible.

Cyberpunk 2077 was always a good game, even on release. Bought it for Xbox on day 1. Only if you had a Series X, PS5 or a good PC though. Unfortunately many people bought the disastrous previous Gen versions.
It's much better now of course.

This is probably because of the bug I reported to Bethesda a few days ago. I continued my Series X game on my handheld PC using PC Game Pass. I reduced the graphics settings and turned on XeSS upscaling on the PC.
When I then went back to Series X my save game kept the lower graphics settings from PC! It looked terrible, little better than the 2006 version. I have screenshots of this on Series X.

@Lup I hope it's a shadow drop and not announcing a three day early access period.

I believe it's not a full remake. They ported the game engine to UE5 so it should play very similarly to before but with better graphics.

I have a Steam Deck and MSI Claw and use a usb dvd drive on both for installing and playing old disk-based pc games, works great.
The new Xbox consoles will likely work with this too given that they will be Windows based.

@GamingFan4Lyf It's the original Creation game engine ported to UE5 so it will be very like the original except for better graphics and small gameplay changes.

There will be another Xbox but it will be essentially a gaming PC running Windows IMO. Like Alienware.

@Kaloudz Been playing it on early access. It's good, like a more scaled down Skyrim with a strong art direction and dialogue.

@Millionski The next Xbox could be fantastic and offer the best of PC, Xbox and Sony on the one console if it has Steam or Epic Store integration.

@JaffeGaffe Should be 60fps imo. It's not going to be a massive open-world game. It will be like The Outer Worlds and have smaller, more curated areas.

I remember Phil Spencer saying they were trying to get around the expired licenses for the Deadpool game so there's a chance that's coming back

I recognise one character from COD:Cold War which was a good game so hopefully this is a continuation of that story.

I always use CDkeys or cjs-cdkeys to get my 12 month subscription. It's much cheaper.

@ralphdibny I have some HD-DVD movies and even one hybrid DVD/HD-DVD one but I have no way of playing them.

Nice to see all gamers being catered for.
