Next gen will sell even worse, people are not going to commit to a console without exclusives. Once the number of players on Xbox hardware declines so will 3rd party support.
@Bobarino If the 2TB was out at $600 the day I bought my Series X I would have spent the extra $100 then. But as a current X owner there is no way I will upgrade without it having additional power.
I am really interested in this. I played a little over 100 hours on PC when it first came out. This would have been a day one buy if my character would be transferable.
These are priced so poorly. It's almost like it's on purpose. To give Microsoft an excuse to say "look no one wants Xbox hardware, let's port everything to PS5 and abandon hardware." Remember Microsoft has failed at pretty much everything hardware and is a software company at heart.
Its wild to think that xbox is so close to death when it comes to hardware. It is going to be weird seeing it as just a game dev/publisher for Playstation and PC.

Re: Reaction: Microsoft's Constant Tweaking Of Xbox Game Pass Is Becoming Exhausting
Xbox is on its death bed. Gamepass numbers are not rising. Console sales are abysmal.
The next gen XBOX will probably sell about half as this gen.
I love Xbox and will ride it out until the end, but I know it's breathing its final breaths as an ecosystem.
