Halo's 343 era is much maligned but while not as good as the Bungie era, 4, 5 and 6 are 8/10's, which is better than most games 👍

@cross717 Your call but they haven't for the last 2 years; chasing the live service dollar means only one first party game a year for the last two years!! When this happened to xbox it was all "Xbox has no games" but now it's happened to playstation, no a peep, Xbox Tax i'd say (just means PS have more fans than xbox and so have more Fanatics than xbox fans just by numbers)

@NeoRatt in the uk PS5 Pro is £700, who think the next gen of either system will be less than that and why? They would have to dicontinue the pro or reduce it, even then, i don't think so

@TheGameThrifter Maybe $1000 dollars US as tariffs will most likely still be in place but, £800 uk, to play PC games too, well i have plenty steam and gog games i have bought over time and never much played but if i could on a console....Well i'm in!!
But Price is decided last to my understanding so this is all to early to be sure and sounds a lot like the usual pre pre launch times of consoles where no one knows anything but rumours sure are FUN!! 🤣

@cross717 Only that they sold xbox's soul to MS for the money and now ms want it back to pay for the great ai sinkhole ($13 billion last quater) otherwise it was the move XBox needed, have you not notice since they bought them, it's not 'xbox have no games' anymore, it's xbox put out 5-6 more games that Playstation is now a year 🤣👍Which is a perfect cadadence and there was no way they were going to be able to do it without them

@Lup My memory is not great but the advantage is i can replay great games after a decade or two and remeber little or nothing of them so cna enjoy them again 🤣

on my quest to finally finish all the Gears games (well worth doing) finished 5, then realise Hivebusters was a dlc, so started that, Great Fun!! Need to get back ot the original Silent Hill after as i fancied playing that series from the start too

and so too many games to play, a very nice problem to have 🫡

@MrStark Except Sony with the PS3 and releasing 1 first part game a year, still the second best selling console this gen (after the Switch)

@SodaPop6548 Series X is Great but took xbox to sell there soul the MS to get enough studios under them to do what they are doing now, pushing out about 6 games a year, if they could have done this from the start, maybe this gen could have been different but glad they are in the swing of things now, hopefully set them up for next gen👍

@RiverGenie I thinks it's MS spending a reported 30 BILLION just in this quater on so called ai, they must have told every other department to foot the bill, including xbox, hence price rises and job cuts

@Fiendish-Beaver No idea why the disparity but i've always found the PS sale just too many pages of deals, i lose the will to live looking through them, but the xbox ones are small enough for me to look though happily, doubt it's done to please me though 😂

@Balaam_ Yeah, evertime it starts will wild ideas of power and cost; then both consoles end up around the same price and power 😂 The idea of a PC Hybrid appeals to me as have quite a few steam games but still prefer playing on a console 🫡
