on my quest to finally finish all the Gears games (well worth doing) finished 5, then realise Hivebusters was a dlc, so started that, Great Fun!! Need to get back ot the original Silent Hill after as i fancied playing that series from the start too

and so too many games to play, a very nice problem to have 🫡

Keeper, Ninja Gaiden 4, Outer Worlds 2, Ball x Pit, All Well Worth Playing 👍

Just want steam and gog on the next xbox, then might finally play the games i've got on there 😂👍

@MrStark Except Sony with the PS3 and releasing 1 first part game a year, still the second best selling console this gen (after the Switch)

Obvs MS made them do this becuase of there ai spending (it's ridculous, look it up)

@SodaPop6548 Series X is Great but took xbox to sell there soul the MS to get enough studios under them to do what they are doing now, pushing out about 6 games a year, if they could have done this from the start, maybe this gen could have been different but glad they are in the swing of things now, hopefully set them up for next gen👍

Xbox Tax, AKA non story. It's still cheaper than the PS5 dev kits and both still supply them for free to devs

@RiverGenie I thinks it's MS spending a reported 30 BILLION just in this quater on so called ai, they must have told every other department to foot the bill, including xbox, hence price rises and job cuts

@Fiendish-Beaver No idea why the disparity but i've always found the PS sale just too many pages of deals, i lose the will to live looking through them, but the xbox ones are small enough for me to look though happily, doubt it's done to please me though 😂

@Balaam_ Yeah, evertime it starts will wild ideas of power and cost; then both consoles end up around the same price and power 😂 The idea of a PC Hybrid appeals to me as have quite a few steam games but still prefer playing on a console 🫡

@Dimey Well Yeah but Sega just ran out of money to support the Dreamcast (and Hell I Loved it much more the the PS2) don't see MS doing that 😂

Funny enough playing through all the Gears games at the moment and i'm on 4, REALLY Good Fun, i mean 3 is the best, but really enjoying this one!! So Glad we got it instead of another bloke raider game

@Titntin I could be wrong, as like all of us (we have no links to the inner workings of MS) but what makes sense to me is rather than keep lying, they are telling the truth, or at least holding the party line BUT, they are in hock to MS BIGTIME since activision, so if MS says they need to cut staff (becuase they are betting BIG on Copliot and wasting untold money on it) then they have to make the best choice, cancelling things that have been going on too long but that they would have continued supporting otherwise, same as game pass, it was okay, so a bean counter in ms must have said, right, it needs to make more money or you can it; so then it needs to make more money and they know it's not right so stick what (realatively) cheap bits they can on for 'added value'

@Fiendish-Beaver One thing i see as a problem for both Playsation and Xbox is if they are going anytime soon, Tarrifs pushing the price up in the US bearing in mind it's a major market for both; Surely a good reason to give us what we want and hold on the this gen until, when's Trump out for good, in what, 3 years and a few months? Not saying that will definately chnage anything, but it may well

@ILuvGames Yeah this time there might be a super powerful (and expensive) one and a regular one; people say the s didn't sell, but think it's sold more than the x

I had a thought that might mess up next gen for xbox and Playstation, GTA6. Coming out in the latter half of this console gen pushing xbox one and ps4 owners to upgrade at the last minute then having no interesting in doing it again in another year or so 😮

@jolteon23 You said it though, MS make the money and must thave told Xbox they need to fix up and make profit (or more profit?) from gamepass; as i see it, it's the price they pay for selling xbox's soul to MS to buy Activion Blizzard and finally be able to make games regularly (which is what they needed to be able to do) but now MS want them to make money when they say and cut jobs when the overspend on ms copliot research when they say)

So after beatiung Gears one a few times back almost 20 years ago, beat 2 a few weeks back (Good Fun) 3 last week (GREAT GAME!!) and Judgement Yesterday (Good Fun) now onto Gears 4, thought it started slow but has me now 🤣👍

Given not everyone likes every game let's just hope those of us still staying on get a few more of those they do 👍

@Titntin Fair Play then, i do use it a lot but dropped one of my young adults to keep mine (he's got a girlfriend so doesn't game as much as he used to, ah those were the days 😂) nothing's getting any cheaper
