Xbox Confirms Its First Two Game Pass Titles For December 2025, And They Both Look Brilliant

I absolutely love Tower Defence games so Dome Keeper is of real interest to me.

I will also be keeping an eye on Routine as it maybe something that I would play.

Will have to wait for the reviews for both to start rolling in...

Like others above said, hopefully Routine comes out good. I remember when I saw the first trailer for it back when it was announced and I was so excited for it. Now that it’s almost here, I can’t help but be cautious 13+ years of development is insane.

Routine wins out the two for me. I'll definitely be firing that up if my backlog is clear by then lol.

Totally with you on that. 13 years seems like a little too long, unless the devs have been in and out of development, there's no real reason for it to take that long. I think Duke Nukem Forever was done before that time lol

I’m a sucker for TD and strategy games, so Dome Keeper might well scratch an itch. Will be interesting to see what Microsoft do with Gamepass for the second half of December - usually they don’t put much (or anything?) up during that timeframe but now with the price increases they might be wise to keep the games coming.

Just not worth the amount gamepass is now, may as well just wait and buy games outright in sales now

I'll pick them up on a Steam instead.

Gamepass can burn as far as I'm concerned.

You need to start clarifying if games are Ultimate or Premium tier cus I'm never ever paying £23 for ultimate.

@dreadful 12mths Ultimate £125 from Loaded, in the UK at least. Basiclly a tenner a month, which is cheaper than it was even before the latest price hike.

Interesting games, but on premium now, so I don't think I'll be able to play these, I find all the news in many places quite confusing now being in a middle tier.

Anyway, for me I'm gonna "take a break" from GP once I complete Octopath 2. The only reason I got another month was because it was cheaper than buying the game and I got a couple of weeks worth of playtime left probably. After that, it's gonna be back to the olde "bought games" backlog for a while at least.

Wheres all the cozy games. I pay a premium price and would love games that I like.

@dreadful @Stamnoso trust me, it's confusing for us as well. The best place to check which tier each game is coming to is when Xbox drops its Game Pass roundups every fortnight or so.

@Kezelpaso Yeah, this is great, I usually keep an eye out for those you guys do a good job. That said, not all sites are equally diligent, but it can get confusing like you say, both for us readers and you guys xD.

@InterceptorAlpha i can understand people dropping down or out from a service that raised it's price for finatial reasons but will never understand the drama xbox seem to get for every choice they make; you don't see this when Netflix put up their price 🤣

@BattleMonkey I canceled my Netflix when they hiked their prices as well.

Only reason I have it now is because it is offered, at no extra cost, with my phone plan.
