Xbox Confirms Its First Two Game Pass Titles For December 2025, And They Both Look Brilliant

Prior to yesterday's Xbox indie showcase, Microsoft hadn't confirmed any Game Pass titles for December 2025, and while 12 XGP additions were shown off in total during the event - we want to focus on the first two games now confirmed for the service in December.

Arriving first — on December 4th — is Routine; an upcoming retro-futuristic sci-fi horror game coming from developer Lunar Software and publisher Raw Fury. Believe it or not, Lunar's debut title has been in development for over a decade - having been first announced back in 2012. The game then resurfaced in 2022, and we've been excited to see it ever since. We're almost there now!

Then, less than a week later, Dome Keeper brings its tower defence roguelike over to Xbox Game Pass on December 9th - and this one looks cracking too. Having garnered almost 10,000 Steam reviews over the last three years (amounting to a Very Positive overall rating), we're sure Dome Keeper will be sinking its teeth into many of you over the Christmas break.

You can read more about both of these titles in our big Xbox Game Pass roundup from the October ID@Xbox showcase, and we'll also throw our full 2025 Game Pass guide down below as well for a look at the rest of the year.
