Re: PS5 Survey Lists Top 10 'Most Wanted' Xbox Franchises On PlayStation

AnVold

I would love to see Indiana Jones, Forza Horizon, Marvel's Blade and Hi-Fi Rush on PS5. Halo is good, but only as a disk with the PS5 logo. I want to see it, but I don't want to play it. I can't treat TES as an Xbox franchise. And I already played the best Gears games on my Xbox 360, so I don't need them on the PS5.

@Banjo- it's not about love/hate of consoles. It's mostly about policy of companies. I like Nintendo policy, I'm ok with PlayStation policy and I'm strongly against Xbox policy. Because of it, Xbox is kinda retro console for me. I'm not interested in modern Xbox console, but I like my Xbox 360. I can't hate it.

>why are you here, then? I don't understand.

Because I still playing on my Xbox 360 sometimes. Pretty simple, isn't it?

>Congratulations on being the first person outside Nintendo to have had their hands on their future hardware. Maybe you can sell the information to Sony or Microsoft.

Thanks. But I'm not a mercantile man.

@Banjo- I can't agree with it. PlayStation have better exclusive games, better hardware (more stable fps in multiplaform games) and the best standart gamepad. Backwards compatibility? Only partially. You can play only half of Xbox 360 games and can't play any Kinect games. And backward compatibility with Xbox Original is just pure joke. We can talk here about few ports only. Better services? It's just the same on Xbox or PS. Only games different. And there is PS won again because of games. But it doesn't matter for me anyway, cause I didn't use any subscription (GamePass, PS+ or Nintendo Online).

>I say this because I don't understand why wouldn't it work both ways and why does it mean the end of Xbox? Xbox has the most successful subscription and the highest number of active users.

It's simple. Because PC or Cloud players isn't Xbox players. Xbox is a home video game console, not a multiplatform subscription service. That's why it close to it's end as a console.

>and who knows what they'll do after Switch, if Switch 2 is more Wii U than Switch.

Switch 2 can't be more Wii U than Switch if it's still a hybrid console. And it'll be more successfull then Xbox for sure. Nintendo took a whole portable console market.

>but next generation you won't buy a PS for exclusivity like in the past, but for loyalty (the PS crowd) or just brand power (casual gamers).

Nope. Because there is many PS only exclusives like Bloodborne, Gravity Rush 1 and 2, Medievil, Sakura Wars, Ghost of Tsushima, Demon Souls, Final Fantasy XVI, Spider-Man 2 and etc. I got PS5 as my main platform because of great exclusive games (Final Fantasy XVI and Spider-Man 2). And I'll buy PS6 because of same reason.

It's my second Xbox-free generation (with PS. Nintendo and PC). And I skipped nothing because I can get any modern Xbox game on STEAM. It's not a Microsoft service.

Re: Xbox Would Like Game Pass On 'Every Screen' Including PlayStation & Nintendo

@Onlyboxmatters but the most people that regret their console choice is Xbox users. It's sad, but it's truth. Xbox is pretty unpopular right now. I saw many comments on Nintendolife and Push Square about Game Pass on Switch and PlayStation. Their users strongly against it mostly. They can accept and maybe buy Microsoft games if they'll be ported on their platforms. But they'll never accept a Game Pass. Especially it's cloud version.

@Widey85 it feels like you said about me. I still have my Xbox 360. But in previous generation I chose to buy PS4 first. I planned to get Xbox One latter, but I changed my mind after Scalebound was canceled and they decided to put Game Pass over Xbox console. So, it's my second generation without Xbox and it's...great. I didn't feel that I skip any games, cause I can play Xbox games on my PC. And I still can play all Xbox 360 games. Series S/X owners can't do that.

Re: Xbox Would Like Game Pass On 'Every Screen' Including PlayStation & Nintendo

Oh, and how they'll gonna bring it? Are they gonna port all of their games on PS5 and Switch? Or it would be a cloud thing? If it would be a cloud, then it's completely useless thing. I don't want to use a Game Pass especially in cloud.
@IOI I think that it just unavoidable. Xbox сan't offer enough people for Game Pass. It's like a anchor on Microsoft's neck right now.

Re: Phil Spencer Says Xbox Is 'Focused' On Improving Handheld PC Gaming Experience

AnVold

@NeoRatt because there not enough XB experience. They must focus on their consoles like Sony or Nintendo did and spread it experience on other devices then they have enough new content and time (like Sony did with their games in Steam). Otherwise Xbox fans feels like they was abandoned.

But on what your primary gaming console environment should be based if not on games? Yeah, PS catalogue is much better, that's why PS5 is more popular then Xbox series and that's why I think that Microsoft should focus on their consoles and on their big new games.

I also don't understand, what the reason to own a few devices with the same library? I have a PC for MMORPG, strategic games and Xbox games, I have a Switch for Nintendo games and for some ports (Dark Souls and Diablo III for example), and I have a PS for other games as my main platform. But I don't need a Xbox because I can have all their games on PC, so maybe it's better for Microsoft to focus on their consoles and make it worth to buy for many gamers? And you can get XB experience on your ROG Ally thru Steam already, right? I'm a PS gamer mostly, but I don't want to get a PS experience on PC and Switch. I have a different games on different platforms and that's great! And you'll can't always use streaming during your travel, because a good internet can't be everywhere. Phone isn't a good device for big games.
