A prebuilt PC is a niche device.

Why do they keep calling it a console if it's actually a PC?

I would like to just own a disc with Halo for my PS5 as a trophy. This is where it all started, and this is where it will end.

I feel pretty pessimistic about it. Enough talk. I want to see their doing.

To their roots? To PC and Windows, right?

Guys, I'm presenting to you my clear and only correct plan of action as the head of Xbox to save our beloved console:

1. I will release games primarily on PlayStation and PC (games sell better there).

2. I will raise the price of GamePass by 2-3 times (this will make us more money).

3. I will come up with and announce several new games at once (for quantity and hype). Within a year, I will cancel them all and close a couple of studios. (id Software would be first)

4. I will buy EA.

5. I will say that microwaves and vacuum cleaners are Xbox now.

6. I will say that next year will definitely be the best year for Xbox.

7. I will give myself a bonus of several million dollars and quit.

As you can see, this is a very effective and efficient plan of action. I'm a gamer myself, and I know exactly what Xbox gamers want!

It’s important because it might be the last year for Xbox as a console.

@Gryzor just curious, did you bought a used Xbox because it's US-product? Did you bought a used smartphone because it's US/China product? Did you refused to buy many cheap but important things just because they was made in China?
Black Myth Wukong and Warhammer 40 000 Space Marine 2 is a great games. It's important to buy a new games if you want to see their sequel.

@Gryzor shure, I affiliated with Mundfish by playing their game. How else I can be affiliated with studo that lockated in Cyprus? I suppose that it's "average" for you because you don't understand all references to Soviet era. I enjoyed a lot the gameplay, story, characters and atmosphere of this game.

Atomic Heart was one of the best games in 2023 for me. I enjoyed it a lot! Mundfish is a very creative studio and I was happy to support them by buying their game. I’ll be looking for their next project.

@Millionski I use my PS5 as a main platform and Switch is my second handheld console.I buy physical games mostly and have never been interested in GP. My first and only Xbox is Xbox 360, and I still like it. But I see clearly that Xbox is slowly dying as a console during 2 console generations. It's the second SEGA.

@Meehanuk_1987 it may be the end of Pure Xbox, but it also may be the beginning of Pure GamePass or Pure PC.

I hope so too, because it looks like that Switch 2 is much better Xbox than Xbox itself.

My PS5 is the best Xbox for me, PC is the second and Xbox 360 is the third.

It’s not that empty and you can still play online if you use Aurora.

It’s a great news! I would like to play Indiana Jones on my PS5.

I have PS5, Switch and PC. PS5 is my main platform and I’ll almost always buy games for Playstation if I can. My Switch is for Nintendo exclusives, good ports from PS3/Xbox360 era (Dark Souls, Diablo III) and a few remasters of old games (Jedi Knights Collection, FF VII and FF VIII Remastered). PC for strategy games, MMORPG, PC and Microsoft exclusives.

I just ordered disc for PS5. Waiting for another one Atlus masterpiece.

I don't care about it, because I have Aurora. It makes my Xbox 360E eternal.

If Xbox Studies put more good games on PS5, then they'll get more nice covers from PlayStation Magazine. It's a win-win situation

@AlienigenX I finished it on Switch and enjoyed too. But I could enjoy it much more for sure, if it was relased on normal platform.

@theduckofdeath it didn't change much if it will be less cheaper or have 2 TB SSD. Blu-Ray drive is more important, because you can play your old Xbox games on discs and buy used or new games on discs. You will lose much more if you buy cheaper console without disc drive. You can upgrade your console memory with additional SSD or/and HDD, but you can't buy Blu-Ray drive for your Xbox. That's why it's looks like a big downgrade for me.

@AlienigenX original SMT V version is horrible. I'll never buy it on Switch again. I was happy then Vengeance anounced for big consoles. I'll get it on PS for sure.

Nope. Digital Series X is is the most useless console that I ever saw. It's like a third leg.

I don't know how it makes Xbox as console stronger in the long run. Microsoft just earn more money in short run. But it makes PlayStation and Switch stronger for sure.

What is my favourite thing about Xbox right now? It's very difficult question for me, because I can't see anything that I like in modern Xbox right now. All good things stayed in Xbox 360 era.

@CutchuSlow i know it. I used it as my main gaming platform till 2016. Steam is ok for strategic and old PC games, but nothing more. It's sort of platform there you buy games on sales only, because you can't get them on other platforms for some reasons.
It's not cheaper for me, because I don't pay for online or subscription on consoles. I prefer big single player games like FF XVI. But I pay for online on PC for WoW Classic sometimes.
And I can't use PC as handheld gaming system. PS5 + Switch just perfect combination for me.

The major thing is that Microsoft cared a lot about their own games and about their console gamers during Xbox 360 Era.

@CutchuSlow I need a cheap and comfy gaming system, not a boring construction set for launchers with tons of problems.

@GuyinPA75 yes, it's pretty terrible. They can take all your digital games if something happend with their store or if they just don't like you.
