No Minecraft? With Microsoft putting out the demo showing Ray-tracing on it with the Series X, I thought for sure it would be here
They need optimise their exciting Xbox one console first. I have an Xbox one x.
And two annoying things that even cheap blu ray players do, switch and PS4
No HDMI switching when you turn the console on, I know get the TV or AV remote and push the bottom to turn the channel over, but why is this simple feature not there.
HDR does not alway turn on when you suspend a game and out the console in stand by mode. Meaning when you switch back on, you have come back out the game to dashboard and back to game again to get HDR. Both gears 5 and ghosts breakpoint are guilty of this. Again simple firmware hiccup. I do like my Xbox one x bit for god sake Microsoft you should sort these bugs out, they are report on your forums by thousands and you do nothing.
Well if these are not corrected for series X you not getting my money. Get the simple things sorted first then move to VRR etc.
@Dezzy70 The first thing I know the Xbox One definitely has because I use it frequently. The second I can’t really say anything because I have yet to get into HDR.
Hoping we get some older games optimized like Halo MCC and The Witcher 3.
How do you get hdmi switching to work then
I tried tv control and everything and used various tv’s. It is well know that it tires to use an inferred signal back from the Kinect days.
But does not work that well. It’s in there forums that it does not have true HDMI CEC switching controls.
@Bezbot I'm sure that Minecraft will be added.
@Dezzy70 It works on my TV (LG C9), both HDMI automatic switching and automatic HDR mode, it must be that the TV is not recognised or something. Contact customer service so they consider adding support for your TV. What brand is it, anyway?
I’d love to see them go back and Patch some older games. Forza Horizon 3 and 4 can run at 4K 60 on PC for example, would be great to see them optimised for Series X. Gears of War Ultimate too.
@Bezbot
No Sea of Thieves, either. 😧
