Amazingly, the footage you see above is the product of just a single developer's vision - Zeng Xiancheng of FYQD-Studio. His indie title Bright Memory Infinite is coming to Xbox Series X, and is described as an "all-new lightning-fast fusion of the FPS and action genres."
The game will be "set in a sprawling, futuristic metropolis in the year 2036," and feature "adrenaline-pumping game design" and "stunning visual effects," the latter of which is made possible by DirectX Raytracing on the Xbox Series X.
And if you're wondering where you've heard the name 'Bright Memory' before, a version of the game is actually available on Steam for PC, and has very positive reviews at the time of writing.
"Bright Memory: Infinite is set in a sprawling, futuristic metropolis in the year 2036. A strange phenomenon for which scientists can find no explanation has occurred in the skies around the world. The Supernatural Science Research Organization (SRO) has sent agents out to various regions to investigate this phenomenon. It is soon discovered that these strange occurrences are connected to an archaic mystery – an as-of-yet unknown history of two worlds, about to come to light..."

The lighting is what caught my eye the most about this. It seemed to be a modern day Sekiro and FPS but not entirely convinced its something I want - the Driving sequence at the end wasn't great either - maybe different in the drivers seat...
@BAMozzy I'm getting Titanfall vibes from some of it.
It looks really good, Definitely the highlight on the showcase..
@FraserG I guess the first person shooting and some wall running aspect does have some Titanfall-esque vibe. I guess a Sekiro cross with Titanfall (or those Advanced movement CoD games as this doesn't appear to have Titans and the character could be one of the CoD specialists) is a reasonable vibe...
As well as also getting Titanfall vibes from it I thought it looked and played similar to Crysis. It really does look amazing and I thought it was the only game in the showcase that actually looked next gen.
The fact that this was made by one guy is crazy! This game was one of the highlights of the show & one of the only games that looked next-gen.
