Update: The official trailer has now been revealed as part of the IGN Summer of Gaming event. Watch it above!

Original Story: The second entry in publisher Deep Silver and developer Torn Banner Studios' Chivalry series is coming to Xbox Series X, according to a official trailer that accidentally went live earlier today (thanks Twinfinite).

The website captured a snapshot of the trailer, which has now been made private. It mentioned that the game will indeed be available on Xbox Series X as well as the Xbox One, and will feature cross-play "across all platforms." We're expecting the video to be re-unveiled during IGN's Summer of Gaming event later today.

As for the game itself, Chivalry 2 is described on its website as featuring "massive 64-player battlefields," complete with a "revamped, faster and more fluid combat system." It's been in Closed Alpha on PC since March.

We'll update this post with the official trailer and any additional information later today.

Chivalry 2 is a multiplayer first person slasher inspired by epic medieval movie battles. Players are thrust into the action of every iconic moment of the era - from the thunder of cavalry charges, to storms of flaming arrows, sprawling castle sieges and more.
