Deep Silver Fishlabs announced Chorus for Xbox Series X (and Xbox One) during yesterday's Inside Xbox show, releasing in 2021. The game will leverage Microsoft's all-in-one Smart Delivery feature, and while the developer says it'll look great on Xbox One, it's "pushing it to the limit on Xbox Series X."
The game is a single-player, story-driven space combat shooter focused around dual protagonists, and features the ability to unlock "devastating weapons" and "mind-bending abilities". On Xbox Series X, the game will run at 4K resolution and 60fps, and will also take advantage of "detailed ray-traced environments."
"Take control of Nara, once the Circle’s deadliest warrior, now their most wanted fugitive, on a quest to destroy the dark cult that created her. Unlock devastating weapons and mind-bending abilities in a true evolution of the space-combat shooter. Along with Forsaken, her sentient starfighter, explore ancient temples, engage in exhilarating zero-g combat, and venture beyond our waking reality."

Cool! I love SciFi!!
This is the only game shown yesterday that actually got my heart rate up but then I’m a sucker for space exploration/combat games that look RULL GUD. But... but... is anybody else growing weary of the transdimensional alien glitchscape ala Astral Chain and Control? It was cool the first time I experienced it and seems kinda copout-y and characterless now. Still!
And separate from its dazzling visuals and style, fans of the genre may finally have a chance to experience a decent story in it. (I’m looking at you, Starlink).
I've got my eye on it. I loved Starlink, and this looks to offer something similar yet different, with a world that looks beyond beautiful (not that I'd fully be able to see that even on Series X).
Highlight of the show for me. Gorgeous. I love art style. Can’t wait to play it!
